Lovely Boutique Winery
Katrin was an excellent host & owner of the Boutique Organic Winery. She does all of the work in the winery & loves the local wine making business. She told us about of the local history as she walked us through the small neighborhood of Contovello where the winery is located. We then entered her winery where she had set up a lovely table in her vineyard for appetizers & wine tasting. A great experience!

Private tour of Trieste
This private, one-on-one tour with Nour was one of the highlights of my stay in Trieste. As a solo traveler, I appreciated having the flexibility to move at my own pace, ask questions, and explore topics that interested me most. Nour took me far beyond the typical tourist experience and introduced me to parts of the city and surrounding area that I never would have discovered on my own.
We explored the beautiful Barcola waterfront, visited the spectacular Miramare Castle, and continued through charming villages and scenic viewpoints before finishing in Trieste's historic Città Vecchia (Old Town), wandering through the atmospheric streets of Cavana. Along the way, Nour shared local history, culture, and insights that brought the region to life.
What made this tour special was the balance between the famous sights and the hidden gems. We enjoyed beautiful coastal views, local neighborhoods, a peaceful pond where we stopped for lunch, and landscapes that looked exactly like the Italy I had imagined before my trip.
My fitness app recorded over 10 kilometers of walking, but the time flew by because there was always something interesting to see or learn. Nour's enthusiasm, knowledge, and genuine love for Trieste were evident throughout the day.
My only regret is that I didn't take this tour at the beginning of my stay in Trieste. Nour provided so many excellent recommendations for restaurants, cafés, gelato shops, neighborhoods, and local experiences that it would have helped shape the rest of my visit. If you're planning to spend several days in Trieste, I strongly recommend booking this tour early in your trip.
If you want to experience Trieste beyond the usual guidebook attractions and gain a deeper appreciation for the city and its surroundings, I highly recommend this tour—and especially Nour as your guide.

Trieste Bellissima!
Lubos is beyond knowledgeable-he is kind, attentive, a keen listener and proud to share the history of Trieste. He was patient with my husbands reduced sight; adjusted our path for more shade & we enjoyed a luscious coffee with chocolate that was memorable.
Thank you Lubos for your generous spirit in sharing the history and culture of your home. We are truly grateful & hope to return and meet you again.
Ciao🥂

Very informative/interesting tour-with a virtual tour guide!
We unexpectedly found ourselves in Trieste as our cruise itinerary was changed last minute so we went on Viator to look for walking tours and found this one. Very informative with both print as well as audio options and we got to see alot. Only recommendation-advise in Viator that this is a Self guided tour (no actual person/guide) AND thar you can start at any time. When we booked that wasn’t made clear. The link that is sent to download is a little cumbersome (could use a little clearer explanation) but once we started it was great! After the tour we took a bus (less than 2 Euros each way) to see Grotto Gigante about 25 mins up the mountain which was well worthwhile!

An Exploration that you do not want to missed!
We were lucky to get there early and missed the crowd. It is worth a visit. A must do. The train took us part of the way and the other part is a walking tour. The tour guide is amazing, not rushing and making sure there is time for the slower people (like us) to catch up. The cave is well lite and beautiful, off course with some imagination along your walk. She provided the history at each stop. She make sure we are safe as there is no stairs. We had a great time. A trip you would not want to missed. Highly recommended. P.s. bring a spring jacket. The temp remains at 10 degrees c.

Probably the best Trieste tour guide
My wife and I enjoyed listening to the guided tour about the history of the city of Trieste. Sonya was really informative as she showed us around the main areas even during the rainy day. She stayed on top of the subject matter as we asked her questions around Piazza Unità d'Italia and Cattedrale di San Giusto Martire. Unfortunately she forgot her umbrella somewhere during the tour and we happened to have an extra one for her. I definitely would recommend her if you want someone with deep knowledge of the city.

Really great tour!
We had a great tour thanks to Stephan. The sights were amazing and he also took good care of us. A small group and lots of information but friendly, polite and not rushed. He is a proud Slovenian and enjoyed showing off his beautiful country. We especially enjoyed the castle and the ride there.

Lovely day trip to Slovenia
I thought that we were going on a large coach tour but it turned out that there were only 6 people on the tour which was fine. We had a wonderful guide , Johanas, and he was very knowledgeable and helpful and very good company. Unfortunately the weather was not good when we got to Bled and the fog and mist blocked the views of the scenery but we moved on to Ljubljana and really enjoyed the tour. Finally when we returned to Trieste my son left his camera on the mini bus. fortunately we managed to contact Johanas and he very kindly drove back to Trieste to give my son his camera. He was great about it and I was very impressed with the service. 5 stars from me. Thanks again Johanas. Well done.

Stunning Slovenia 🇸🇮 😍
Dean is a great guide and very informative. He was clearly passionate about Slovenia and it's history. Lake Bled is as beautiful as the pics and was very atmospheric during our visit due to the early morning mist. Do try the delicious traditional custard cake, kremsnita with a strong cup of Slovenian coffee, absolutely yummie! Lubljana is a pretty, chilled capital city featuring picturesque bridges and Lubljana Castle. We tried the local dish, Jota and had plenty of time to walk around taking in the vibes. We hope to return to this beautiful country in the future to visit Piran and other coastal areas. This excursion is highly recommended. Thank you Dean for making our first visit to Slovenia special ♥️

Great service from driver.
Previously went to Lubyana and Lake Bled. These were more interesting. The cave tour was well-managed and the cave itself was awe-inspiring. The castle was an interesting step back in time. The radio phone included allowed self-paced tour without rushing or standing around.
Driver was 5-star. Limited English but I’m trying to practice my Italian so we got along famously. I was able to sit up front which I very much appreciated, since I get carsick. Traffic was light and we had a bit of extra time so he took us on more scenic roads and explained the people, animals and culture a bit.
He was knowledgeable to get us into the venues without long lines, and immediately available when we were ready to leave. We arrived back at the hotel on time.
He’s also a safe and efficient driver.

A Perfect Day in Slovenia.
Our one-day tour of Slovenia was an absolute delight. Our two tour guides, Dajan and Dean, were exceptional and kept us entertained throughout the entire experience with their engaging conversation. We were particularly impressed by their enthusiasm and genuine love for their country. The vans were spotless and surprisingly comfortable, making the journey enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Trieste.
