Trieste in 3 hours
We had an outstanding experience with Gioia as our tour guide in Trieste. From the very beginning, she was incredibly accommodating and flexible when we ran into unexpected travel delays getting into the city. Her willingness to adjust and ensure we could still enjoy our tour made a lasting impression.
Over the course of three hours, Gioia gave us a comprehensive and engaging tour of Trieste. She is exceptionally knowledgeable about the city’s history, culture, and landmarks, and she presented everything in a way that was both informative and enjoyable. What stood out most was her ability to connect with everyone in our group. She kept both the adults and our children fully engaged, which is not easy to do.
We were able to see all the key highlights of Trieste without ever feeling rushed, and Gioia added thoughtful context and stories that brought each location to life. In addition, her restaurant recommendations were excellent and truly enhanced our overall experience in the city.
Gioia is professional, personable, and clearly passionate about what she does. We would highly recommend her to anyone visiting Trieste and looking for a well organized, insightful, and memorable tour.

Stunning Slovenia 🇸🇮 😍
Dean is a great guide and very informative. He was clearly passionate about Slovenia and it's history. Lake Bled is as beautiful as the pics and was very atmospheric during our visit due to the early morning mist. Do try the delicious traditional custard cake, kremsnita with a strong cup of Slovenian coffee, absolutely yummie! Lubljana is a pretty, chilled capital city featuring picturesque bridges and Lubljana Castle. We tried the local dish, Jota and had plenty of time to walk around taking in the vibes. We hope to return to this beautiful country in the future to visit Piran and other coastal areas. This excursion is highly recommended. Thank you Dean for making our first visit to Slovenia special ♥️

Unforgettable Culinary Adventure in Trieste
We absolutely loved our food tour in Trieste! Every stop was delicious — fresh, local, and beautifully presented. Our guide was fantastic — so knowledgeable about both the food and the rich history of the city. I especially loved the farm-to-table focus; it really connected us to the region and its traditions.
As a wonderful bonus, she even sent us a list of recipes afterward so we could recreate some of the dishes at home. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip — highly recommend it to anyone visiting Trieste!

Recommend for cruise passengers!
If you are looking to get some exercise, learn about sites in the city and go at your own pace this is a wonderful audio tour.
We enjoyed both listening to the tour and reading it as well. I read what was was coming up while waiting for my husband to take photos. It is worth going into the church. It is free. We didnt go into the door to the left where there is a fee.
They have coin slots to turn on the lights for a minute.
There is a Jewish ghetto along the way if you pay attention to the signs as well as other historical tidbits.
We recommend the walk. The creator requested a review...but I was going to leave one anyways. We wish him well on his business of creating these, because it makes it easy to get some exercise in these cruise ports while learning more.

Highly recommended!!!
Lake Bled is such a beautiful place with no crowds to speak of. Ljubljana is like Europe of thirty years ago. Cafe society abounds. Most enjoyable. Our guide Dorya is a gem. She has an abundance of enthusiasm and is quite knowledgeable and most interesting. Thank you Dorya!

Don’t Miss the Hidden Gem of Trieste
The private, Experience Trieste 2.5 hour walking tour was the perfect introduction to this Italian port city. As a cruise port gateway to Venice, Trieste may not get all the attention it deserves, but—trust us—it’s well worth spending some time there. Our personable local guide, Lubos, possessed all of the attributes deserving of a five-star rating: punctuality, knowledgeable, flexibility, and friendliness. We also greatly appreciated his pre-tour communications via WhatsApp, which gave us the confidence that all was in order. Everything promised in the tour description was delivered in a timely manner, at a leisurely pace, and by the knowledgeable and winsome, Lubos. The tour focused on Old Town Trieste, including its history, architecture, and cultural landmarks. The tour was the perfect springboard for our port of call there.

Great service from driver.
Previously went to Lubyana and Lake Bled. These were more interesting. The cave tour was well-managed and the cave itself was awe-inspiring. The castle was an interesting step back in time. The radio phone included allowed self-paced tour without rushing or standing around.
Driver was 5-star. Limited English but I’m trying to practice my Italian so we got along famously. I was able to sit up front which I very much appreciated, since I get carsick. Traffic was light and we had a bit of extra time so he took us on more scenic roads and explained the people, animals and culture a bit.
He was knowledgeable to get us into the venues without long lines, and immediately available when we were ready to leave. We arrived back at the hotel on time.
He’s also a safe and efficient driver.

Highly recommended tour with great guide!
Wonderful tour, excellent itinerary, knowledgeable guide, and perfect pacing make for a memorable excursion. Trieste is like how Venice must have been forty years ago before being over-toured. We loved every stop, especially Cafe Tommaseo for cold drinks and appetizers. The Roman Theatre and the grand piazza were other favorites. We learned a great deal about Austria-Hungary roots of the city, which make it unique among Italian towns to tour.

The caves are amazing. I...
The caves are amazing. I have been to many, and these are the best experience. The castle cave is also a good historical landmark if you don’t like stairs. It’s very interesting tour as long as you like walking up stairs. The tour guide Jimmy was great, with good stories and kept the tour organized. Definitely worth the effort! But expect a bit of effort walking up paved paths and stairs, but the views motivate well.
