If you visit Trieste, this tour is a must. Sonia was very informative. In 2 1/2 hours we toured some of the new city and the old city. She brought us to some amazing sites while providing an interesting history of the city. I highly recommend Sonia as your guide for an enjoyable tour around Trieste!

(Written by Jill) Reasonably good city tour. The guide we were assigned was not the guide named frequently in this tour’s 5 star reviews. This guide was quite knowledgeable but not the most engaging communicator. The sites were quite varied and spanned many centuries of history.

Wonderful tour, excellent itinerary, knowledgeable guide, and perfect pacing make for a memorable excursion. Trieste is like how Venice must have been forty years ago before being over-toured. We loved every stop, especially Cafe Tommaseo for cold drinks and appetizers. The Roman Theatre and the grand piazza were other favorites. We learned a great deal about Austria-Hungary roots of the city, which make it unique among Italian towns to tour.

Sonja was a very well educated and insightful guide. We enjoyed her narrative of the history of Trieste. She also provided insights into the culture of the city. We visited the oldest cafe in Trieste for a coffee and went back later for a delightful dinner. A very entertaining tour.

Our guide Sonia was terrific! The tour was so informative and the city is amazing! The history of the city was riveting! We were so privileged to be able to attend a portion of the mass at St. Giusto cathedral. This tour was one of the best we have ever had! Sonia is incredible!

My partner and I booked this tour because we like knowing the histories of the places we visit. Despite many travels to Europe and Italy in the past, neither of us had been to Trieste.
Our tour guide was very well prepared and able to answer all of our questions. She was also flexible enough to begin the tour in a different location than she normally does because there was no parking near our hotel.
I would recommend this tour to anyone provided they are healthy enough to walk up and down Trieste’s hilly terrain.

Sonia, our tour guide was fantastic. We had our private tour with her. We had a few request to help us find a couple of items and she was very helpful. I was excited to see Trieste as my grandparents were from that city. Sonja’s tour was excellent. She explained the history of the city with such passion and knowledge- we learned so much about this interesting place. In addition we saw areas of the city I do not believe we would have found ourselves. I would highly recommend this tour and Sonja.

Our guide was excellent. We toured the city center, piazza, castle, Jewish ghettos, and had some coffee and dolces in a cafe overlooking the harbor. We listened to a detailed history of Trieste. I highly recommend this tour for first time visitors.

It was hot walking around town I. The afternoon, but Christina kept an easy walking pass filled with wonderful historical information. The cathedral was my favourite spot with a great view again lots of interesting legends. Thank you Christina
