Jack was a fantastic tour guide. Always attentive, informative, and knowledgeable. He knows all the spots to go and all the right ways to get there. Although the hiking trails in the park are closed post-earthquake, it is still open for driving tours and small stops along the way. Absolutely gorgeous and definitely worth it.

Charlie was the most amazing driver/guide/person we could have ever hoped for. I could spend the whole day writing about our day out with him. We had the most incredible experience with our driver in Kaohsiung. From the moment he picked us up, he was kind, patient, professional, and genuinely cared about making our day special. He went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything we wanted, adjusted the itinerary to fit our interests, and never once made us feel rushed. He taught us so much about this beautiful country. He took us through beautiful countryside, temples, Monkey Mountain, and hidden scenic spots we never would have found on our own. His driving was safe and smooth the entire day, and he was so thoughtful and accommodating with my family. You can tell he truly takes pride in what he does. What stood out most was his kindness and heart. This did not feel like a standard tour — it felt like spending the day with someone who genuinely wanted us to fall in love with Taiwan. We absolutely did. If you are considering booking this tour, do it. This was the highlight of our entire trip, and we will remember this experience forever. A well paced tour for all ages which provided two toilet stops along the way. Leo gave a quick history rendition and explained the significance of the old town. The walk was flat and took 21/2 hours. Highly recommended for a tourist who wants to have an introductory understanding of the history and social fabric of Taipei. Thank you Leo!

Highly recommended experience with Taiwan TST - Our tour operator Maggio customised our trip based on the weather. Which was so personally managed and as a result we ended up booking 2 extra tours with them as the service was exceptional. Our Driver Mr Xie is the best - he ended up playing all my fav playlists also and drove us around tirelessly for 2 days. Big THANK YOU

After exiting baggage claim, my private driver was at the designated area for passenger pick up service. He had a board up with my name written on it. I approached him. We greeted and he led me outside to a designated place to wait while he went to get his car. His vehicle was a clean comfortable minivan. He loaded my 2 luggage and we headed to my hotel. He gave me a bottle of water as I was seated. As we were riding along, he pointed out areas we were passing and made suggestions of places to visit in accordance to my interests, as well as places to eat, night markets info, etc. When we arrived at my hotel, he unloaded my bags and gave me a Taipei map of undiscovered places, in English and the native language guide, and a guide to Muslim friendly travel. I was very pleased with my experience with this company and my private driver.

A truly amazing and fun experience. The entrance was a little confusing to find if you are very familiar with the area. The restaurant workers next door were able to point me in the right direction! The instructors were so friendly and patient. Makes even the most novice chef feel like a pro. Would recommend to anyone and everyone who wants a half day activity. We had the most incredible day exploring Taiwan with our tour guide, Oliver. He took us to Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall, the Golden Waterfall, the Yehliu Geopark, and even made a special stop for us to light a lantern and make wishes—plus several other thoughtful stops along the way. His timing was *perfect*; we always arrived just before the big bus tours, which made every experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Oliver was not only knowledgeable—sharing fascinating history and stories about Taiwan—but also genuinely personable and so easy to chat with. By the end of the tour, it felt like we had made a new friend. I can’t recommend this tour enough. Skip the crowded big bus options and book this tour instead. You’ll get a much more intimate, meaningful, and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Our guide Chiao Chiao arrived on time and she was very polite and very informative. The Yehliu Geopark was amazing and we were lucky to see water buffalo in the Qingtiangang Grasslands. I would recommend this tour for anyone looking to fill in half a day while in Taipei!
