We had a delightful day with Robin! We were in contact beforehand to arrange what we would most like to see and Robin arranged this into the day in a logical sequence and so things never felt rushed. It was a great way to see viewpoints and places we couldn’t have managed alone. We saw: - the giant Buddha - lotus pond / tiger and dragon pavilion - amazing beef noodle lunch - the dagan bridge swing open at 3pm - pier 2 area - monkeys on monkey mountain - viewpoint across the city from high point - view across the harbour from Xiziwan

The itinerary was ideal to see several parts of Northern Taiwan, and escaping from the busy-ness of Taipei. Really enjoyed each spot, especially old Shifen street where we got to light up the lanterns. Jeannie was a great professional guide. So skilled at switching back and forth between English and Chinese. Very appreciative that she pre-arranged food orders for us - the stuffed chicken wing is a must-get! Also, she went above and beyond to make sure we got back to the parking lot on time when the shuttle bus let another group on instead of us. It’s a very long tour with lots of walking but well worth the value.

Our day with Jeremy touring northeast Taiwan was probably our favorite day during our weeklong vacation. We were a small group so switched from Mercedes van to minivan but the minivan was nice and clean. Jeremy was right on time. He was so kind and took amazing photos of our family. He also knew all the secret spots to get amazing photos and he showed us less touristy breathtaking views. He answered all our questions and shared a lot of fun anecdotes about life in Taiwan. We felt like we got a better understanding of the country’s history and also of the people. He had a special snack for us that Taiwanese people use as a good luck charm for electronics. I know it sounds crazy! But so fascinating to learn. Jeremy made our tour in very busy spots a lot easier. He would walk us to the best spots, park or drop us off to reduce unnecessary walking. He just made it an easy and pleasurable day despite some traffic and some rain. Our family, including two kids, were entertained, educated and also felt relaxed. Jeremy was also flexible should we want to stay longer somewhere. Overall, a great guy and a wonderful tour. Thanks Jeremy and for all our beautiful family pics!
