This was an amazing day deftly coordinated by our guide/driver. We saw so much in a short period of time but never felt rushed. History, local culture, customs, and context were shared at each stop with a personal touch. Our personal requests were cheerfully accommodated and additional recommendations for our guide enhanced our experience. We'd asked to go to a local place for lunch, and it was an excellent experience. I booked (50's female) and drug along my two teen sons (18, 14) and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the day. Over the last several weeks we've done tours in Seoul, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Kyoto, etc., and this was by far the best. I cannot recommend it enough!

We had an excellent full-day private driving tour of Taipei and highly recommend it. Our guide Eddy was professional, friendly, fluent in English and knowledgeable, and made the entire day enjoyable and stress-free.
He showed us a mix of major highlights and local spots, shared interesting history and made sure everything was comfortable and well-paced. It was an excellent way to see Taipei in a short amount of time.

Jennifer was a wonderful guide, who was punctual, knowledgeable, and spoke very good English. She showed us many beautiful city sites, including temples, memorials, old city and Taipei 101. She gave us plenty of time to explore, and pointed us to a wonderful place for a restaurant in the old city. We would highly recommend Jennifer in the future and as an added, plus she was a great photographer!

Eda met us holding a sign with our name. She is absolutely precious. She took us around to the sights, waited on us to tour, eat lunch and shop. I highly recommend this tour. You can adjust it to your needs.

We only had 4 hours but still managed to quickly see most of the itinerary thanks to Oscar our guide who also made sure we were at the airport on time. Recommend this trip even if you don’t have the full time in Taipei you can still see a lot!

We had such a great day! My favorite of all the days on our vacation was the Taipei and Shifen area tour. We were able to customize to include the Shifen waterfall and what a spectacular place! Benson guided us, gave us great info, gave us tips on where to eat, and was a fantastic driver. I would do this all over again and I will recommend this for anyone wanting to see Taipei and the area. My kids enjoyed it as well. This is a must do.

My husband and I took an 8-hour guided tour of Taipei with Joseph on April 22. Joseph is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Taiwan and the geography of Taipei. Because the city is so spread out, being transported in Joseph's car was an efficient use of time and made us very comfortable on a very warm day. Joseph is an extremely kind and thoughtful person. We were lucky to have him as our guide.

Angie was our guide And drove her personal Mercedes for our day! It started as a challenge because we had booked 2 full day private tours of Taipei, but she called her boss and got permission to take us to Taipei Zoo ! Got there as they opened and enjoyed several hours of a very clean Zoo with tram to top and slow walk down! Morning well spent! Afternoon Angie drove us to New Taipei and Shefren street area! More than 100 years old, train run right through middle of hundreds of young people buying , painting special messages on Sky Lanterns which they set loose with small fire inside and dozens fill the sky ! Quite a spectacle! Once in a lifetime experience! Not to be missed! Many vendors with samples on both sides of the track! Angie called a friend with a local seafood restaurant for out lunch! Area doesn’t take credit cards , but Owner told her he would take ours since we were with her! She found us two ice cold Taiwan Gold Medal beers for our Huge bowl of a giant whole squid, giant shrimp , clams and noodles in a great broth! Gave everyone big scissors to cut up squid! Met cutest young couple from University of Florida at next table! We are FSU Seminoles ! But chance meeting with new friends!!

Paul was a fabulous guide. Because we had had a 1/2 day tour the previous day with another guide, Paul worked on showing us many different sites of Taipei. We visited the President’s office (their White House, only red brick). We had a quick visit to the art museum with so many interesting pieces. We loved Paul’s pace of seeing this museum, for we had other stops to make in our full day. We stopped by the Grand Hotel. We loved visiting the hot springs. And, we so enjoyed stopping by a local restaurant for lunch, and then, running through a local grocery store. Next, and last…we visited a Temple with an amazing view.
Paul was on time picking us up, and we ended our full day by 5 pm. He is knowledgeable, great sense of humor, and loves “our” kind of music. We had a memorable day of a such a wonderful city. I would highly recommend this tour.

We were lucky to have Leo as our guide for a day in Taipei! What a gifted guide! Leo clearly loved showing off his city and he told lots of stories that made the history come alive. We saw everything on our wish list and more, including some local foods and quick stops at off-the-beaten path places. I would highly recommend getting Mr Tony Kuo as a tour guide. It was our first time in Taiwan and he honored all our itinerary requests to the dot and more! He was highly professional and you can see how much passion he puts in doing what he does and is committed to giving everyone a fun and educational tour of each and every site we visited. We went to a customizable tour to the Northern part of Taipei to include the Geopark , Juifen Shifen and the night market close to Taipei 101. He made us see the mix of the old and the new —the way he saw the places through his eyes and shared the culture that he loves so much! He even provided us an SD card of all the DSLR pictures that he took of us and the places where we went to which surprised us at the end of our tour! His kindness and his patience kept us feel safe and made this trip a truly memorable one! I recommend him to my family friends and everyone—I love Taipei!!!!

This was a completely customizable private tour. I had some sites scheduled to see with another person on another day, so we changed the itinerary to see other things. The guide came with a list of things to see, and we adjusted to what I wanted to see. Definitely worth it.

Tony was an excellent guide. Showed us a lot of areas in Taipei they we had never even heard of. He was very friendly and spoke excellent English. Took us to a nice place for Beef Noodle Soup for lunch and when heavy rain came he adjusted our tour accordingly.

Our guide Thomas was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and accommodating. Since we had already seen a couple of places listed on the itinerary on our own, he made adjustments and took us to a few different places. He accompanied us to the museums and made sure we saw all of the highlights and explained everything. We also made a couple of stops for delicious local food!

We had a 14 hour layover in Taipei so we booked an 8 hour tour. Although it rained, we still had a lot of fun getting out of the airport and seeing Taiwan. Our guide, Sam picked us up from the airport and took us to a few places. We got to see a market, a beautiful waterfall and release a giant Chinese lantern with our dreams on it in a mountain town.

It’s hard to say, which thing was the best because it was also good! Our tour guide Victor was amazing! Juifen was so cool. We tasted so many different things. The waterfall was gorgeous. Getting to paint our wishes on the lantern and then fly it was a great experience! The drop off at the cruise ship topped it all off.
