My family and I included Hualien in our vacation to Taiwan, because we wanted to see Taroko Gorge. We hired Alex to drive us and we had the best day with him. Alex is very kind, friendly, and his English is excellent. He is knowledgeable about all things Hualien, including nature/environment, and culture. We went on a nice hike to a waterfall, visited Taroko Gorge, and spent time at the ocean. He also gave a recommendation of what to try at the night market and it was delicious! We highly recommend a day trip with Alex when visiting Hualien.

This was my favorite tour from my month in Asia. When they say full day, you really get a lot done in the day but never felt rushed. I usually leave my guides good reviews, but Trix raised the bar. I have never seen such dedication, coordination, entertainment, and passion from a tour guide. If you can request him, do it. He provides so much more than he needed to and this should be recognized. He is on his game when it comes to this trip. Provided his own maps, very clear communicator, his own videos, everything was next level. Bravo, dude

Charlie was the most amazing driver/guide/person we could have ever hoped for. I could spend the whole day writing about our day out with him. We had the most incredible experience with our driver in Kaohsiung. From the moment he picked us up, he was kind, patient, professional, and genuinely cared about making our day special. He went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything we wanted, adjusted the itinerary to fit our interests, and never once made us feel rushed. He taught us so much about this beautiful country. He took us through beautiful countryside, temples, Monkey Mountain, and hidden scenic spots we never would have found on our own. His driving was safe and smooth the entire day, and he was so thoughtful and accommodating with my family. You can tell he truly takes pride in what he does. What stood out most was his kindness and heart. This did not feel like a standard tour — it felt like spending the day with someone who genuinely wanted us to fall in love with Taiwan. We absolutely did. If you are considering booking this tour, do it. This was the highlight of our entire trip, and we will remember this experience forever.
