Water village with Kalvin

Great way to start a visit to Shanghai

We were collected from our hotel by Annie on time. Quick discussion on what we would like to see but that was easy we would follow Annie! First was up the magnificent Shanghai Tower in the super fast elevator! Wow what a view and not to be missed. We visited Yu Gardens, Jade temple, French Quarter, the Bund, People's square, a walking tour in these places and much more, also stopped for lunch, which was great. Annie was a fantastic host with a lot for us to hear about Shanghai's history, but not just that we covered a lot of other subjects too with a lot of humour. Had a great driver & car who picked us up & dropped us off where we needed to be. To conclude we had a great day & feel more educated, so would highly recommend to start your stay with this tour & of course Annie. Thank you!

He was not only knowledgeable about the neighbourhoods we were in, and the history and customs of the Chinese people but also, he was just wonderful to be with. I felt like I made a new friend. I don't normally do food tours, but this one was awesome, and I would highly recommend it.

Shanghai was a new experience, and neither of us spoke English. The English speakers in Shanghai are not numerous, so a guided tour with an English Interpreter was arranged. The tour was great, the interpreter was awesome, the private vehicle moving us around was a blessing, and the price was very reasonable. Would highly recommend. Cathy was a font of information, friendly, helpful, and her English was great. We did other tours in Shanghai, and trust me, English-speaking doesn't always mean English-speaking. I was very pleased.

Emma was an incredible tour guide! She was personable, timely, courteous, knowledgeable, and genuinely took each of us and our individual needs into consideration throughout the entire day. Her advice regarding the different entrance options for the Southern Great Wall was especially helpful. She carefully explained what each option involved, including the additional 200–300 steps after the Warrior/Hero’s Slope to reach the top, which allowed us to make an informed decision about the route that was right for us. Our entire day was planned perfectly. After coming down from the Great Wall in the heat, Emma even treated us to ice cream before lunch so we could cool down — such a thoughtful and very welcome surprise! Lunch itself was absolutely amazing. The entire tour was an incredible experience for all three of us. On a personal level, I have difficulty walking, and climbing the Great Wall was a significant challenge for me. With Emma’s guidance, patience, and encouragement, I made it! That is an experience I will never forget. All three of us would wholeheartedly recommend Emma. Her attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and ability to make the day enjoyable for each of us made this an unforgettable experience in China. We could not have asked for a better guide!

What a wonderful experience ! Alana is on top of the organisation w clear communication with whatsapp. The driver shows up on time. Then I had two wonderful guides - Ling for Yu garden and yuyuan market & Queeni for French Consession & the bund. They were knowledgeable, thorough, and eager to share facts about the places. Fluent in English they made for excéllent guides for this fantastic trip. Very convenient - roughly 5 hours with stops, visits, & driving to/from hotel. I recommend this STRONGLY!!! What an awesome tour!

Caroline was an absolute dream! From the very first moment, she welcomed us so warmly and made us feel incredibly comfortable. This honestly became one of the most beautiful and memorable days of our entire trip. She is an absolute professional and somehow always knew exactly where to go, where to stand and how to take the perfect photos. Some of the most beautiful pictures from our entire journey were taken with Caroline, and we will keep those memories forever. A very funny and sweet surprise: we are Iranian, and Caroline even knew a little Persian! That made the experience even more special and showed us once again how much knowledge, passion and personality she brings to her tours. We loved everything about the day – especially the rickshaw ride, the beautiful boat ride, the food and all the little moments in between. The tour overall is nice, The walk around the old city and the shopping area is beautiful. The waiting time to get in the cruise was longer than expected as it was busy day but as soon I got in the cruise the view was incredible beautiful 10/10 I highly recommend this tour. The best tour in Shanghai!

Madelyn was a great guide. She provided us a lot of information about the history of China, the different dynasties m, histories and culture and symbolism used in the design of the building. You can feel her passion, and knowledge for her job. . The water town of Zhujiajiao was so beautiful! We learned a lot from her. She catered the tour to what want to see as well. We went to the Silk museum and factory and bought some beautiful scarves. She was also very helpful in providing us suggestions of points of interests in Shanghai that we should check out.
