What are people saying about Shanghai

This is a great and...
This is a great and efficient way to explore the major highlights of Shanghai if you’re short on time. I was picked up and dropped off directly at my hotel. With 20+ years in the tourism industry, Kalvin was a very knowledgeable guide. I appreciated learning not just the importance of the sights visited but also how Shanghai has evolved into the major cosmopolitan city that it is today. I was also super grateful for Alana’s coordination of the logistics. This tour is a must do!

Bridging past snd present
Robert was friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodative. I came to see Zhujiajiao with my 87 year old Mom who was born in China. Robert communicated in both English and Mandarin and bridged the gap between modern China and the past when asked questions by my Mom (in Mandarin) and by me (in English). The trip brought back memories which my Mom shared with Robert and myself that added a personal layer to the trip. My Mom especially appreciated the delicious lunch because some of the vegetable dishes my Mom has not eaten in a long time because the vegetables are not available outside of China. It was a truly a wonderful unique experience that Robert was able to provide for both my Mom and me.

Happy I decided to do...
Happy I decided to do this food tour inspite of the rainy weather the day of the actual tour. Alex was a wonderful guide and had prepared a yummy circuit of food majorly in 2 areas. I loved the additions of the Chinese tea ceremony and fruit snack in between the highlights of fried scallion noodles, Cantonese duck, Shanghai fried dumplings and Xiaolongbao soup buns. Highly recommend this tour!

Excellent tour and fantastic guide!
We just finished the tour with our guide Snow and it was excellent! We select tours based on past reviews and our tour of Shanghai and the Zhujiajiao Water Town did not disappoint. She did an excellent job describing everything along the way, spoke excellent English and was very flexible when we asked to take pictures and make changes to the itinerary. I would highly recommend this tour and we highly recommend Snow. She made the day very fun in this beautiful and safe city!

Awesome day trip to...
Awesome day trip to Hangzhou with Kimi. Entire experience was super well organized and Kimi communicated great across our group of English and Mandarin speakers. Saw many sites within a condensed period and lunch was the best we've had on a tour like this.

Amazing tour in every way possible.
This tour was simply great. My mom had trouble walking at the time so we did it with a wheelchair. Lea was our guide and she made it work — she adjusted the pace and route so my mom was comfortable. She knew where to skip crowds and where we could rest. She led us through shortcuts and vista points that you’d normally won’t find yourself. Solid tour, great guide. Would highly recommend!

Great tour
This was a great tour. Be prepared for a long day as it is 3 hours on the bullet train each way - not 2 hours. So 6 hours of travel plus pick up and drop off transfer times.
Meal is vegetarian. Best to go in Feb for the flowers. Tour guide was helpful and friendly.
Pick up areas are more flexible than the website suggests.

Beautiful afternoon on last day of our China trip
It was our best experience of a week in China. The communication with the company was good. Our guide Snow picked us up from the Shanghai bazaar. The car was impeccable, the driver Shen was very professional and helpful. The walking tour was substantial with a beautiful boat ride. Memorable visit to the Ma garden. We did some unexpected shopping and Snow assisted with it. The dinner was delicious. We had an afternoon tour just before flying back. It left us with warm feelings of China. Thank you!

Flexibility and amazing Guide
This was a private tour hence the flexibility to modify the itinerary in regards to pace and volume of sights. However, the trip was even better specifically because of our guide Peggy, who was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of China. Even the current ways of living of people in the 2020s. She also went above and beyond and helped take us to make bookings of the top Michelin restaurants and joined us for a crab noodle lunch. And also took us shopping which is not part of the itinerary and stayed overtime till 6:30pm.

Good by day - spectacular by night
First half was an 1 hour cruise around the river - majority of buildings are covered in led's and whole area becomes both very colourful and atmospheric.
Second part is a road transfer to Yu Garden where the buildings are all bathed in pastel light, this highlighting their ancient design.
So that was the trip, but the whole event was made more than special by our guide 'Autumn'. Not only did she queue for hours during the afternoon before picking us up - this to ensure we had the best 'VIP' boat seating, she also managed to get us into all the Yu Garden areas before all the throngs of tourists arrived.
Finally she added another walk around the magically lite French Concession area. The whole trip was simply superb.

A very well organised day in Suzhou!
Kimi was a brilliant guide. The day was well organised and delivered, and Kimi explained everything in English really well. Lunch was also spectacular, so make sure you are hungry! All the vehicles we went in were very clean and organised well, and we really enjoyed seeing so much of Suzhou in one day. Thank you Kimi!

Excellent Private Tour through Zhujiajiao
Bill was our personal (three of us) guide through Zhujiajiao. He was excellent. Fluent English speaker, with no accent, which made easy to talk to him and understand his comments. Knowledgeable about the history and sites in the town. Tour included transportation via Didi (their Uber), private tour through the town, entry into a garden museum, boat ride, and a simple dumpling lunch, all for a reasonable price. What I liked best was that Bill was very communicative, via WeChat, before the tour so I could ask questions before the trip regarding precise details for pick up times, who to expect to pick us up, where, etc.. Originally we were suppose to meet with the driver at another hotel , but Bill willingly arranged for our pick-up at the hotel where we were staying. If you want a private, very good tour guide, who is personable, friendly, accommodating
and professional, Bill is your guy! Great tour!

Known as “The Paris of the East,” Shanghai is China's biggest and most prosperous city. Even the locals can’t do it all. That’s why Shanghai tours are the best way to maximize your time. Instead of looking down at a map, let your expert guide show you around sites such as the Shanghai Museum, the Yuyuan Garden, and the Jade Buddha Temple. Or opt for a food tour through the French Concession, a cruise on the Zhujiajiao canals, or even a day trip to Beijing, where you can walk on the Great Wall of China.
