Great tour you should not miss doing when in Shanghai

We enjoyed a great day in Suzhou with our excellent guide Jane. This tour was meticulously organised and we had outstanding communication from the tour company. Jane did a great job shepherding us through the very busy Shanghai station. Arriving in Suzhou we made our way to the Humble Administrators Garden is a very new and clean sedan. The weather was lovely and we enjoyed walking around the historic garden. After a short rickshaw ride we had an early lunch in an excellent local restaurant followed by an interesting walk through the Panmen Gate scenic area. Some lovely flowering trees in early April. Finally we enjoyed a sort boat ride on a canal later in the afternoon before catching a later train than originally planned. No problem getting new seats after Jane made a call to the tour company. Returned to Shanghai where the driver dropped us off downtown instead of the hotel. Have no reservations about highly recommending this tour.

Wonderful introduction to Shanghai!

Although we coincided with a holiday weekend, the tour was carefully adjusted to avoid the worst of the crowds. Met at the airport after long flights, the super comfy vehicle was perfect for 4 passengers & luggage. Our driver, Mr Chen mastered the traffic with ease. Queena, our lovely guide, spoke perfect English; was funny & extremely knowledgeable. She knew the best photo opportunities & patiently took many snaps for us ;o) We tried the best soup dumplings ever & lunch was outstanding. She also used her personal Alipay & assisted us reimbursing her once we figured out ours! We were dropped at our hotel at the end of a prefect day. Highly recommend this day tour/private airport shuttle if you land on an early flight but cannot check into your Shanghai hotel until later in day.

I was apprehensive about booking a tour guide for a solo day experience in Shanghai, but I need not have worried. May is an excellent tour guide. She was so patient with all my questions and incredibly knowledgable about everywhere we went. I made multiple changes to the original suggested itinerary making this even more impressive. Alana behind the scenes was always attentive ensuring the whole experience went smoothly and our driver was on point. Always close by ready for the next stop. May made the experience so worthwhile I will plan to book a similar tour when I get my wife to come to Shanghai.

One of the best adventure

Amazing full service door to door with everything taken care of. Emma was really friendly and picked me up at the hotel on time and then we made our way to the train station. The train ride was really easy and the visit of the wall and the garden was amazing. Emma was a treasure trove of information and she is eager to share her knowledge about the sites; super friendly and the the food was amazing. Definitely recommended for anyone wanting an immersive adventure. Emma was also very flexible and even added an extra secret view spot. It’s worth the time and money, would do it again in a heart beat.
