Well Worth It
This experience is a very long day but well worth it. A lot of ground is covered with lots to see. Pick up and drop off was seamless and plenty of food and toilet stops along the way. If you haven't seen any of the sites listed and only have a short stay in Las Vegas, this is a great way to do.

Amazing
We had such a lovely time sightseeing Hangzhou with Pheonix as our tour guide. Her knowledge of the cultural history behind the destinations and made visiting these spots more memorable. Would highly recommend this service to any first time travellers looking to gain a glimpse Hangzhou's beautiful sights and rich history.

Request Caroline! What a wonderful day!
Great day on the water, visited the largest housed Buddha temple and had a delicious lunch. Caroline is very knowledgeable and kept us on time to each destination. Make sure to buy the grade A green tea from the local farmers. A wonderful gift and treat for yourself when you arrive home.

Amazing Kayak Tour!
It was amazing! Our tour Guide, Lee, was a great guide! There were three of us total, including him and it was very serene. Smaller tours are much better than larger ones, in my opinion. We got to enjoy the sound of the lake and wildlife. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Flexible pick up time and...
Flexible pick up time and private transfer were amazing. We knew a lot when on the way to the tea plant. Kids were very exited to wear traditional clothe for tea picking and overall the process. It’s very hard to show for kids all the steps of tea production that they were interested and guide did it 100%. We’ve known that we can: not only drink tea, but even eat leaves from tea. And super bonus that price for this tour with English speaking guide was cheaper than for a group trip (from 10to 40 people) that made our experience ten times better)) thank you very much for the tour

Beautiful scenic trip
Beautiful experience rafting down the Colorado River. Esteban picked us up from our hotel on the strip and shared his knowledge of the area and was a lot of fun. Paul our raft tour guide was very informative pointing out different things along the Colorado river and the Hoover Dam. The tour was scenic, stopping in different areas to get out to explore a bit or dip in the river which I enjoyed. The lunch was great. A nice little cooler bag to take home with Hoover Dam logo was a nice touch. Overall a beautiful trip that was worth it.

Amazing experience, would recommend to everyone
Eddie is an amazing guide, we had a problem with the initial booking and he handled it very nicely. He provided non-alcoholic drinks and snack bars throughout the journey. He gave us interesting facts and was patient with our pace. Could not recommend him enough!! Thank you Eddie :)

Hot yoga hot springs
Hot yoga hot springs? Sure! You bring your poses but adventure child will get you there. Your guide knows the spots, the caves and hikes you just won’t get anywhere else. It’s obvious how much they care about your adventure and personal preference. Ditch the awful motor “tours” and put yourself in a better spot! Ask about the Rice Krispie treats

Hoover dam kayak trip
Had an amazing time with some breath taking views. Our guide Kwame was great and knowledgeable of the history of the area and was very helpful during the hikes and climbs so we could complete them safely. Some of the spots during the hikes were a bit challenging with climbing the rocks with a rope but the challenge made it so much more fun and rewarding. Definitely was an awesome experience and will be recommending it to friends.

A Great Tour Option to Explore
What a wonderfully perfect day away from the city. Eugene and Melissa served as our tour guides and know how to accommodate all skill levels. The trip is organized well so participants can just relax and enjoy. The natural beauty of the Black Canyon contrasted against the emerald green water is astounding. As a doctor and kayak instructor, I noted the team focused on safety and then fun. Great adventure!

Great workout
The drive down was easy. There’s a $25 fee because Willow Beach is a National Recreational area. Parking is easy and the meeting point is easy to find. Have breakfast and coffee before getting there because there’s not much. The tour provides some great snacks. Ryan was kind enough to give us some snacks before the trip. It’s 2 miles down the river to get to the Emerald Caves and 2 miles back. We had a break on one of the beaches but it was still a hard trek. Ryan was a great guide. Loved his dad jokes. The emerald caves were very cool. We didn’t get to stay in for very long because there were a lot of people waiting to go in. Overall a great experience. Nature is beautiful.

Perfect activity for our family! Will do again!
We had an amazing time on this kayaking trip! Elizabeth was great at communicating in the weeks beforehand and made it easy to contact to ask questions. Johnny was assigned our tour and was amazing. He gave clear instructions about our meeting place and had enough kayaks for us to change our minds about using a tandem kayak. Johnny also took more than 200 photos and sent them all to us! We were so grateful! He went above and beyond to help our family on our first Colorado River kayak experience.
We did a morning tour (9-1) so when we got to the emerald cave the sunlight wasn’t exactly right to see the emerald color at it’s finest, but we were ok with that, especially when we saw the hoards of kayakers making their way to the cave when we were on our way back. We easily fit our six kayaks into the cave at the same time. There weren’t very many kayakers in front of us, but it could take a long time to get in if there are a lot of kayakers on the river.
Johnny took the time to take us on a little hike on our way to the emerald cave, (could do the hike in flip flops) to see the foundation of the river guager’s home from when he was conducting research previous to building the Hoover Dam. We saw the catwalks and zip lines he used, and we loved the history of it.
We had 5 family members participate—4 adults and one 12 year old. We were not planning on using a tandem (2-seater) kayak, but when we saw the kayaks were bigger than the ones we had used before, we chose to have the 12-year-old ride tandem, and she did great. She was happy about that too, especially when we hit a bit of a headwind for a few minutes. The river was flat and smooth—no rapids—and we had temperatures in the 60’s.
We each packed a lunch and snacks in a plastic grocery bag, including a couple water bottles each. Because it wasn’t too hot, that was plenty of water. But if you’re there on a hot day, you’d want at least that much. We took little breaks on a couple small beaches and had time to snack and drink water. Each kayak has a place where you can strap on or store anything you’re carrying, including food or clothing. I carried a bag of towels for everyone in the front of my tandem kayak, which we didn’t really use because of the cooler temperatures. My son did find a rock to cliff jump from, so he needed a towel.
Most of us didn’t swim, so I did the whole tour in flip-flops. Others had water shoes or Teva‘s which were great too, but some of the water shoes had pretty thin soles which hurt a little on the hike.
We got started a little bit late because of a car accident that Johnny was stuck behind on his way there, but he communicated to us in a timely manner. We probably started at about 9:20 and we were out and in the car by 12:30. It could take longer depending on how many kayaks are on the river, wind conditions, how big your party is, and how everyone in your party is doing with their own paddling.
I felt like Adventure Child did an amazing job with communication and execution. I would definitely go to them again for another excursion.
