What are people saying about San Jose

Highly Recommend
Franklin was an amazing guide! We learned so much about the history and culture of Costa Rica while exploring San José, and he made the entire experience interesting, engaging, and fun. We especially enjoyed the delicious stop for drinks along the way—it was such a nice addition to the tour. One of the things we appreciated most was how comfortable and safe we felt walking through the city with Franklin. We left feeling like we understood San José and Costa Rica so much better than we did when we arrived. Frank is knowledgeable, personable, and clearly passionate about sharing his country with visitors. Highly recommend this tour!

A great time outdoors
Fantastic day tour. Smooth pickup from door then a beautiful drive up to the coffee plantation. The volcano was covered with clouds but that’s just how it goes sometimes. It’s a lovely hike if you like the outdoors. There’s a good amount of walking, some uphill and stairs, so be prepared and take a poncho. The nature preserve was fun! Waterfalls are amazing. Olman is a great and friendly guide. I highly recommend.

ATV and zip lining day
We had such a great day from the moment the driver picked us up at our hotel until he dropped us off. We loved the Atv Tour and got to swim in the waterfall pools. Our guide. Darien was so fantastic. The lunch was delicious. After lunch, we went zip lining and all of the guides were really great. Our Driver Diego was amazing as well. He pulled over to show us a Costa Rican parakeet, we stopped to see alligators and grab anwe stopped to see alligators and grab a snack, and he brought us to a local spot for the most delicious fresh ceviche. Would highly recommend this amazing tour.

Very nice day trip at a good price. Our guide was Luis and our driver was Annie, who were both great. A lot of driving, but it is a far drive from San Jose to up the mountain. Nice bonus stops along the way, including breakfast and we saw a mama sloth in a tree with her baby! A few stops for snacks and souvenirs. The waterfall was beautiful, learned a lot about coffee making, and beautiful landscapes along the way. Unfortunately, Mother Nature didn’t let us see the volcano, just a zero visibility cloud, which was kinda cool in its own way. Overall, a good value, and a good day.
