Enthusiastic Guide
There is more to coffee than drinking it. The guide helped us see coffee in a new way. Sarchi was also enjoyable.

Very knowledgeable guide
We had a nice day with Max who was friendly and very knowledgeable. Sadly Poas was totally shocked in on our day but that's life in the mountains sometimes.

A great experience.
This was a great experience. The food was great, good music and the water was warm and salty and the crew were great.

Great Tour - fairly new tour pkg option for this company and loved it
I was initially worried because there were only a few reviews but it was the only tour that included Grecia and Sarchi which had a couple of things I wanted to see. I am so glad I did it! Eric our guide was so great and really knowledgeable. The best all week. Juan Carlos was our driver and really friendly and a great driver.

Weather limited view, but the experience was still good.
We didn't get the view of the volcano, and things closed earlier on Sunday than we had anticipated, but the tour company adapted to allow us to see some of the main sites of San Jose anyway. Leny was a great guide!

Pleasant and informative tour
The tour began with an on-time pick up at our hotel. Our driver and tour guide, Luis, had a sign with my name on time. He was very nice, hospitable from the beginning. He gave us facts about Costa Rica and we had such a good conversation throughout the tour. He first stopped to show us coffee plantations and then we were on our way to Sarchi. We stopped to see the world’s largest Oxcart and even saw the church nearby. Afterwards, we had a tour of the Oxcart making factory. And took time to see the souvenir shop. This was followed by a buffet lunch and a pleasant ride home. The only road block was a flat tire happed while we shopped, but that was fixed.

Highly Recommend
Loved the tour! My original tour got cancelled last minute and was moved to this one, wasn’t sure what I signed up for but it was exceptional. Jairo was an amazing tour guide! Learned a lot and truly a wonderful experience. Friendly note, if you get car sick be sure to bring something to help.

Amazing Tour
I would highly recommend this tour to CostaRican nationals and international travelers. Paolo and Geiner were friendly, helpful, professional and shared a wealth of information on the sites visited. We got picked up on time from the hotel. Doka Coffee Plantation tour was extremely interesting and informative. It also offers a botanical garden, a Butterfly Garden,a restaurant , bathrooms, a shop and lovely views of nature. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Anyone who loves coffee, and appreciates the beautiful costarrican artistic talent and rural cultural sights, this tour is a must!

Wear comfortable shoes...
Wear comfortable shoes and long sleeves if you’re visiting Poas Valcano as it is highly recommended when you get there

Patience, Sacrifice, Hard Work!!!
Our tour guide Mr. Garry and the coffee bean education… fabulous!!!
The coffee knowledge that was shared in both English and Spanish couldn’t be purchased at a university… only at Doka…❤️🇨🇦☕️

Fascinating and informative tour with great coffee and food
The coffee and village tour was well run and informative, Gary and Carlos both looked after us very well during the drive between the towns and getting in and out of the bus. It was very interesting to see the different attractions and we felt we had enough time to see and enjoy everything. The lunch was lovely and the family all enjoyed it (including the children aged 14, 12 and 10)
