Apa our guide was wildly engaging and made for an educational and fun tour. The tour was well organized. We learned about every aspect from seed/sprout to roasted and packaged. Apa took many questions and was happy to share his wealth of knowledge. The lunch was delicious. I would do it all again.

We traveled to Costa Rica a day early to join an organized tour, but had an extra day before joining that tour. Our friend had never visited a coffee plantation so I suggested this particular tour and was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be the same site when we did a ship excursion as part of a 2004 Panama Canal cruise. Husband now has mobility issues, but he was still able to walk the well laid out paths. There was plenty of seating along the way. Our guide knew EVERYTHING about the production of coffee -- she was very lively and animated. The various displays were in English/Spanish -- everything was really well presented. The included lunch was filling. Very nice gift shop as well as a bakery with what looked like yummy goodies.

We had a wonderful experience at the Britt coffee plantation tour. Our tour guide Luis was knowledgeable and very friendly. He made it interesting to learn about coffee and dispelled some misinformation .
He shed new light into how coffee was grown and how the inter actions of weather, soil, environment and luck go to obtain a great product !

Coffee tour was great! But the transportation provided by the tour was not reliable. The transportation arrived an hour after the scheduled pickup time. I had to call to verify if they were even still coming because we were not informed they were running late.

Our tour guide was amazing. Her name is Chos and she was theatrical, charming, and very entertaining. The tour was excellent. I had a great time. The lunch was quite good. Still I feel it was way too much money for what you get. I think they should charge $45 per person. Everyone buys coffee beans and they make a ton of money from sales. I just don’t think it’s worth the price

Guides were funny and interactive. You try the coffee with no sugar (bring 2 packet of sugar if you don't drink it black). The place is small so it's a quick tour.

It was only us on the tour for pickup which was great. The tour guide/driver was very friendly. The tour was good they tried to translate for us the information, gave a tour of the factory and the process of coffee, gave samples of different coffee and we had lunch. The food was good.

I have done many coffee tours in Costa Rica, even though I'm not a big coffee drinker
I have to say this was the most entertaining and organised one to date and the staff at Britt were so accommodating
It doesn't happen now but it reminded me of the first time I flew through SJO everything had cheese in it and being allergic to dairy I was struggling to get any lunch when a man at Britt offered to make something there and then for me and that's what happened here, as I wasn't able to eat the included lunch, an alternative was made
