This excursion is a full day we will travel to the beautiful area of Poás, our bus will travel through mountains and cattle farms until we reach the impressive Poás Volcano. We will take a short hike to the crater to see its beautiful lagoon, of course considering that its sighting depends on the natural weather conditions of the area. Really nice tour,...

Really nice tour, especially for a first time visitor like me. The coffee and breakfast at Doka were amazing and learning about the coffee making process very iinteresting. The Poas Volcano is absolutely incredible and it should not be missed, even if the view is very affected by the weather. La Paz Waterfall is a beautiful place, a bit sad to see the animals in cages but unfortunately they are rescued animals that can't be reintroduced in the wild. I think most of these places can also be visited without a guided tour, but if you don't have a car or just want to relax, this tour is a great option.

This trip can be as relaxing or adventurous as you want it to be. Perfect if you just want a chill day in the sun, but also great if you want to do the activities. For me it was great to fully unplug in a no cell reception area, but Wi-Fi is available for a small fee if needed.

Amazing Day!

Alex did an amazing job as our tour guide and driver! He was super attentive to guests who needed extra care in our group. He was super energetic although he had a lot of us to keep up with. He was able to spot animals with his naked eye then show us through his telescope. He prepared us for everything (entry rules for Manuel Antonio, the heat, etc). Know that it is a very long day and that it is very hot and humid in the park so be prepared.

Fun family adventure

Our guide, Mauricio was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great time at the La Paz Waterfall and Garden tour. We did this at the start of our trip. We wanted to at least see some of the animals native to the area in case we were not able to see them in the wild. I was quite happy that we did not run into any large cats outside of an enclosure. This day did not feel too long. There was a stop on the way to and from the gardens.

Viktor was a super nice...

Viktor was a super nice guide and very happy to answer questions. He even took us to an extra stop (strawberry - cheese - wine - shop and tasting) after the 3 stops. I didn't understand why we first went to the coffee farm and then to the volcano because it's better to visit the volcano early so you can actually see something. We were lucky, but 10-15min after we arrived everything was cloudy and you couldn't see anything anymore. I hope they'll change it for future tours, so people can actually enjoy a good view.

Amazing tour!

What an amazing day! Our tour guide Steven was simply the best. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was a full day, about 15 hours, but it was 100 worth it. We learned about one of the coffee plantations, enjoyed so Costa Rican coffee, saw the waterfall, zip lined and spent some time at the hot spring. It was the best tour we could have started our vacation doing.

Andrea was a great guide—she is very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Costa Rica, I would highly recommend this tour. We started off with trying a bunch of different fruits, then a bit of ice cream, and concluded with tamales, a dessert empanada, coffee + a traditional drink. As a tip, I would recommend doing this tour earlier in the day. There were a few times when I wanted to purchase something and wished I could have gone back to the market. However, since I did the 3PM tour, everything was closed by the time I was done with the tour.

I had an amazing experience on this full-day tour in Costa Rica! Our guide was incredibly sweet, friendly, and made the entire day feel so enjoyable and relaxed. We made plenty of stops along the way to take pictures and spot wildlife, which made the experience feel really special and not rushed at all. One thing I really appreciated was how the guide took the time to take photos of us.They were also very communicative, explaining what we were seeing and making sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the tour. Overall, it was such a memorable experience, and I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Costa Rica!

This tour is great if you want to see a variety of places in one day. The lunch was a highlight — probably the best meal I had during my 7-day stay in Costa Rica. I also appreciated that the guide added an extra stop at the Cartago ruins when I asked. Highly recommended.
