False advertising

First thing you need to know is you do not get 2 days. You arrive at ~2 p.m. on day 1 and are on the taxi home at 8:45 a.m. on the 2nd day. Assume 1 1/2 to 2 hour tour before breakfast as you're only activity on day 2. Besides not receiving the tours we paid for, the company also did not pick us up as promised. An uber showed up 1 1/2 hours late after our hotel continued to call because they ignored my attempts. The uber took us to a random taxi, who took us to his dad to take us to the lunch location. We had 20 min to use find our bus and guide, use the bathroom, and try to get some food before leaving. We got put on a french tour because the english one was full. So we couldn't understand any of the information being given to us. When we finally got to the boat, it was also full. Thankfully our guides stood so we could have seats. The company did not book us at the hotel, so our guide had to talk to them to get us a room and access to the food. The only saving grace to this tour was our guide. He was fantastic and did his best to make our trip fun despite the circumstances. All together the this tour company and Viator are knowenly falsely advertising the experience.

As I said, the bus driver couldn't pick you up because they had a problem with the bus, this supposed to not happen, but it is also not normal than a brand new minibus get problems. The tour guides are able to speak, English, Spanish, and French. You were able to ask in English and get a response. We already processed a compensation for you. Best regards,

Really disappointed by this tour. The experience is supposed to include a visit to the turtle conservation and to observe turtle spawning on the second day. Turtles are not in season until June so this can not be offered now and isn’t explained until you arrive on the tour. It’s false advertisement. The tour is also described as a 2 day package but actually you leave at 9am on the second day. Good accommodation but would not recommend. Tour company unwilling to provide partial refund for false advertisement

Dear Customer, I am sorry for your bad experience, however you should read what is included and what is not in the description of this tour, as you may notice in no part of the tour we guarantee or promise that you will see any type of animal in nesting season, additionally it is described that the visit to the turtle conservation center is optional and the entrance fee is not included, I advise you to read carefully about what is included and what is not. It is impossible to offer something that we can not give, we have never offered or guaranteed to you or anyone else a visit to the turtle nesting in season or out of season, also our hotel is awarded among one of the best lodges in Costa Rica and Latin America, the idea of the hotel is always to connect you with nature and not to create an artificial and controlled environment.
