Best Las Paz Poas guide and tour
The guide was excellent. She knew in detail all about La Pas Poas volcano national park. The operator and guide was very nice and was never trying to hurry but kept the schedule to make sure we saw all. I would recommend others to use this tour thru Assisttours. We saw a family owned coffee plantation and hence was better than the big companies visits. We were also taken to strawberry shp family owned and coukd taste and buy strawberry wine. Before being picked up we were given approximate time of pick up with live Whatsapp Gps location of van before reaching us for pick up.

Learning about the...
Learning about the history of cocoa was interesting for me (my 12 year old would have skipped that part) but when we got to the testing and chocolate making he was all in. Letting you do the chocolate yourself, pick your toppings, and decorate your chocolate wrappers was a great experience. I would recommend it if you are looking for something smaller, more interactive and easy for kids to participate.

So much better than expected!
This is the real deal despite outward appearance. Did not love the upsell attempt at photos, however may have been cool to have these after was all said/done. Guides were hilarious and gracious with newbie zipliners and 2 children in our group with special needs. You start by taking a beautiful landrover towed transport back past beautiful farms with a great view of the volcano (when not overcast). These are not beginner ziplines, however they are beginner friendly with the staff's help.

Relaxing trip
Great guide and crew- Roy was very professional and has a good sense of humor as well. It was a very relaxing beach day. Although the description says drinks - water,juice- are included , they are only included when you’re at the beach so bring your own water unless you want to pay two dollars additional for something you drink. I suggest you bring cash to rent a beach chair and umbrella which was 11 .
