Fabulous tour with Dina!

This tour was outstanding. Our guide Dina was terrific, she gave us facts and history of the Montmartre area, and we went around the neighborhood, visiting shops while she bought our goodies to take back to a small room we had to ourselves (just our group). We had some cheese, chocolates & macaroons, and crepes on the street before arriving in the room where we feasted on many types of cheeses, meats, bread, and pickles. And of course lots of red and white wine. Dina discussed each cheese and meat as she prepared and passed them out, she is very lively and knowledgeable. We were very happy that we found ourselves with this tour. We didn’t know before yesterday, but Viator gives their guides freedom to plan their own tours. So who your guide happens to be is critical to your experience. Most of the tours we’ve been on with Viator guides have been really good and worth the money. Happily this one was, too.

Stefan was an amazing tour guide. His knowledge and friendliness made this one of the best tours we’ve been on. We booked the Le Marais 10+ Tastings tour for our first day in Paris, but unfortunately, severe jet lag caused us to miss our scheduled time. We were so disappointed, but after emailing the team, they responded the very next morning! They were incredibly kind enough to transfer our booking to another day free of charge. The tour itself was fantastic—the cheese, wine, and local stories were highlights of our trip. We are so grateful for their flexibility and highly recommend this tour not just for the food, but for the wonderful people who run it!

We wish we could give this more than 5 stars! Our guide Lolla could not have been better! She is a local to the neighborhood (born and raised) and truly knows her stuff! She was great at describing the history of the neighborhood, the significance of the different food stops, and truly cares about sharing her knowledge with each and every guest. If you've never done a food tour (or never one in Paris), this is one you cannot miss. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Fun time on Bateaux Parisiens

Here are the highlights of our Bateaux Parisiens experience: -The expensive seats in the front of the boat were worth every $. -The singer was superb. -Waiter was very attentive. -Food and wine were excellent. -Views were amazing. I would highly recommend for first time in Paris. However, we did this at the end of 5 days of sight seeing so we had the lay of the land. Note the sights won’t be verbally broadcast so you need to do your own exploration while eating, if that suits you.

Erica was an excellent guide and all of the food was delicious. Start your tour hungry and pace yourself. Many of the stops were also great opportunities to purchase gifts so, bring a tote. Unless you don’t mind carrying your treasures, build in some time to drop things back off at your hotel/airbnb.

A fantastic culinary journey

We can’t say enough about how great our tour with Laure was. Her knowledge of French history, culinary traditions, hidden gem shops we would never have discovered on our own, and her genuine interest and caring to learn about our preferences and experience made for an intimate and enriching experience in Paris. We have done walking tours and especially food walking tours in many European cities. It is a great way to go deeper into the cultural nuances of a place. When you have a great guide, it really makes the experience resonate and become a lasting memory.
