Allison was an excellent guide but we only did 7 tastings, half the group got lost at the start due to wrong address in Maps and the group was too big to fit into the stop points comfortably.

The tour guide was fantastic. She was very friendly and gave a lot of in depth history of the area and locations visited. However, the tour itself was definitely not worth the price. Information in the description is very deceiving. We only visited 6 locations, and at each stop, we were given a very small sample (I.e. - one macaron, one cookie, one caramel). This is the first food tour I have been on with Viator, where my family was more hungry when it was over than when it started. Also, the tour group was too large. We had 15 people, and most location were so small, either we had to go inside in shifts (small groups), or we had to wait outside for the tour guide to bring out samples. When temperature is below freezing, going inside for a small break is needed. Plus, you could not look around the shops, to see what they offered. I realize not all items can be offered on tours, but the decision to stop at two different locations to receive a single macaron at each, while not offering crepes, eclairs, etc., shows this tour is poorly organized and priced way to high for the offering.

Additionally, Paris pastry shops are often very small, which naturally limits how many people can comfortably fit inside at one time. Because of this, guides frequently share stories, history, and context just outside the venues before stepping in briefly to collect the tastings. This approach allows guests to visit well known neighborhood shops that are valued for their craftsmanship, even when space is limited. Many guests appreciate this format since it provides access to places they might not otherwise experience while still learning about the area and the products being sampled.

Nana gave us an excellent tour of St Germaine. She included many details about the history of the neighborhood as well as feeding us excellent food. She took us to hidden gems on side streets we would not have discovered on our own. Our two teens had a great time too!

This was such a remarkable tour. I learned about Masters in baking, pastries and chocolate, not to mention some history on the social, cultural and architectural development of Paris. The tastings were unique, delicious, and things I wouldn't know to search out myself. Our guide Etienne, was excellent and knew the San Germain district so very well. Highly recommend this tour.

We had a very lovely day on this tour, having delicious pastries, and all types of delightful baked goods. Our tour guide, Ann-Sofia, was lovely, as well as knowledgeable, and gave us the background of all the places and desserts we tasted, as well as the streets and surrounding area. We enjoyed the Crepes, the Madeline‘s, the Eclairs, as well as tasting wonderful chocolates. The Macaroons were my favorite part of this experience.

Small party and our guide was knowledgeable. A bit disappointing on number of stops and tastings. Our expectations were that we would sample several different chocolates or pastries per stop. That was not always the case and it some cases, it was one choice and done. Was a good experience but not sure I would do it again

The French Chocolate, Macaron & Pastry Tour was an absolute highlight of my trip! Every stop was thoughtfully chosen, showcasing the very best of Parisian patisseries. From rich, silky chocolates to the most delicate, melt-in-your-mouth macarons, each of the 10 tastings was a little masterpiece.
Our guide was fantastic—knowledgeable, warm, and passionate about French desserts and history. They shared fun stories about the neighborhoods we walked through, making the experience both delicious and cultural.
The pace was perfect, with just enough walking between stops to balance all the indulgence. I especially loved discovering hidden gems I would never have found on my own.
If you have a sweet tooth or just want to experience Paris in the most delightful way, this tour is a must. Come hungry—you’ll be in pastry heaven!

Great and very tasty tour. Etienne was very informative, helpful, and stopped at several shops for pastry and chocolate creations. Really great tour and experience that included not just food but discussions on architecture, businesses, Paris living, as well as background history of the shops we visited. (And, our thanks to the fine establishments that provided the treats.) The tour lasted just about 3.5hrs walking over paved and cobblestone streets. You'll be generally in and out of shaded areas. Rain fell several times, but we were either inside or under an awning. I'd still bring an umbrella if rain is forecast. Highly recommend.

We stopped at a chocolate shop, crepe shop and a few other places. It was very good. My tour guide was amazing. No one else booked the tour I did at the time so I had a VIP tour and it was amazing.
