What are people saying about Oregon

Loved it! As long as you know what to expect…
A few things to keep in mind when considering this tour. This is not a tour of any buildings tunnels etc. You will be outside on sidewalks the entire tour. There are multiple longs stops where the tour guide is storytelling. Most of the stories have graphic or violent details. Be ready to walk, stand and listen a lot. Things that make it difficult to concentrate on the storytelling may diminish the experience. (That being said the guide was extremely animated and invested in the storytelling and history so even with the loud noise of Portland night life, it’s relatively easy to follow if you are invested.)
Okay, all that stuff out of the way. The experience was great! Shawn was our tour guide and he kept his excited energy until the very end of the tour and beyond. I don’t know how he did it, 6 stars, seriously impressive. If you’re someone who enjoys history and/or any aspect of the paranormal, you will enjoy this tour. Again, the main value in this tour is being invested in the story and history itself. About equal amounts of walking/standing. Nothing inaccessible for really anyone though there are plenty of uneven surfaces on the sidewalks as well as street crossings so bring something stable and comfortable to wear. Start of the tour is right where it says, there are bathrooms and time to use them available if you show up 15 minutes early. Refreshments also available in the lobby. I won’t spoil any of the tour content just know if you don’t mind a little noise, some uneven surfaces, walking and standing for about an hour, and have any passion at all for history, paranormal, just appreciate storytelling. You will enjoy this tour if you come into it with the right expectations for the experience. Loved it, wife loved it. Definitely recommend if you’re visiting. IF YOU ARE GOING DURING SUMMER, GO AT NIGHT! IRS hot!

Convenient and fun!
Jim gave us lots of interesting information as well as great service for getting in and out of the van, how to locate points of interest, etc. This tour was worth the money so you don't have to find parking, etc at each stop, which is so convenient. We don't typically like to do tours because we like to explore at our leisure, but we had plenty of time at each stop and it was so easy. Highly recommend!

I’ve been in Portland for 22 years and have never done this tour before. I had an absolute blast riding the trolly, my f
When sitting in the back be ready to hang onto your hats as the wind can easily blow them off. Bring a light jacket just in case, we went on a warm day but, naturally, there is a breeze. Few stops with a bathroom, and if that’s all you need, remember you’ll be at that stop for an hour, so just be aware of that. Bumpy ride so hang on, lol!

A great tour, highly recommend it!
We had a great time checking out all the waterfalls and Vista Point as well as Mt Hood. Our guide, Michael, made it extra special. He gave out lots of information as well as made it interesting with some side stories. Since we were making good time so he also showed us some extra waterfalls that were not on the itinerary. He also gave us lots of recommendations on restaurants as well as places to visit. Thanks, Michael, for a memorable trip!

They kindly ask people to...
They kindly ask people to come 30 minutes early, however I was stuck in traffic and the company could not be nicer and understanding of my circumstances. I made sure to keep them updated of my ETA out of respect, so if you are late just give them a call and they’ll completely understand. Our pilot was so fun and nice!! I had a blast 🤩

Beautiful, breathtaking...
Beautiful, breathtaking views. The guides were very knowledgeable. 2 of the hikes were a bit steep but the other 3 were very doable. It was a bit cloudy for our trip so the sunset didn’t last that long but still totally worth it. Coming from Alaska, we have our own waterfalls but there was 1 you could get right up next to it. Beautiful! We would definitely recommend this to family and friends. This is an all ages excursion.

Due to heavy crowds and...
Due to heavy crowds and minimal parking at all of the waterfalls, this tour allowed us to spend more time enjoying the falls rather than setting in parking queues waiting for a space to open up. Also, our guide (Seth) was outstanding at providing very informative information on the falls and the surrounding area. On our last stop, he volunteered to take our grandkids and anyone else that wanted to hike behind the water fall, since we, as seniors, did not want to go. He also showed us where the best locations for pictures could be taken and ,if asked, would take pictures of anyone in our group

Ohhhhs, Ahhhsss, and oh ish that’s sick!
Absolutely one of the best interactive experiences I’ve been to around the world. Vibrant light displays, learn and play. Came when there was loads of little students running amuck with supervision but enjoyed the happiness they exuded at each exhibition display. You won’t want to miss this. Worth every penny paid.

Fun with strangers
Bonding with fellow travelers is key to "a good time had by all."
The tour was great, the selectd wineries were entertaining and worth every sip, and the travel through the Willamette Valley was breath-taking. Our tour guide, Phoebe was knowledgeable, considerate & friendly. The camaraderie developed between my fellow participants was very special. It was a great day.

Amazing guide and trip
Amazing day spent seeing all the waterfalls. There is no way I would’ve been able to find all the waterfalls and the things to see on my own. It was so nice having time to look at things and be taken there. Our tour guide was also very thorough and knowledgeable

Not only entertaining, but educational and worth every penny.
Captain Nate was fantastic. With a fun personality, his extensive knowledge of the Portland area, both history of the Willamette River as well as the local food scene, was so valuable. We also had the added bonus of sharing knowledge of other parts of the world and the US with him. We saw a total of 10 American Bald Eagles. I love excursions like this, and his was as good as the best of them. I would highly recommend Captain Nate in particular. As a licensed boat captain, I admired his skills as a Coast Guard Certified Captain which are far better than my own. He kept us safe and entertained the entire trip.

A very pleasant afternoon
The cruise was delightful with interesting information about the bridges and other landmarks along the Willamette River in Portland. The food was delicious. Our group ordered a variety of entrées and all of them were quite good, as was the cheesecake for the included dessert in the lunch. The staff were very pleasant and helpful as well. My adult daughter, 97-year-old father and I all had a very nice time.

Most of Oregon is a giant outdoor playground, from the Pacific Ocean beaches (100 percent of which are public) to the mountains of the Cascade Range and the high desert in the eastern part of the state. There are Oregon tours that highlight all of these wonders—and more. Even from a base in metropolitan Portland, full-day excursions let you explore the Columbia River Gorge, visit the coast, or hike up the state’s tallest mountain. Between outdoor activities, you can also go wine or beer tasting and sample some of Oregon’s best eats.
