Instead of the usual crowded viewpoints, he brought us right up to the guard quarters, giving us a front‑row seat to the inspections, bugle call, band warm‑ups, and the precise, rhythmic marching that most visitors never get close to. We moved seamlessly from the Foot Guards to the Horse Guards, and he made sure we didn’t miss iconic moments like seeing “Big Ben” up close. What truly set this tour apart was Peter’s awareness of the historic moment unfolding around us. During the Prime Minister’s resignation, he guided us to Downing Street where all the press were gathered, explaining the heightened security and the significance of the King’s arrival. It felt like witnessing history with someone who knew exactly how to frame it. Peter’s knowledge, timing, and ability to navigate both ceremony and breaking news made this an unforgettable experience. Absolutely excellent tour, highly recommend.

Relaxing and informative

My family and I went on this tour after a full day of exploring London and it was a great way to wind down the day. The boat was comfortable and we were able to see all of the big monuments from the comforts of the boat. Our tour guide provided very insightful information about London and its history with fun stories. The ride took us from the Tower Bridge to Big Ben/Parliament and back. Very smooth ride - the boat is completely electric!

An Opportunity to See a Vast Number of Famous Sites in London

Yulia, our tour guide, was wonderful, both pleasant, and very knowledgable of the places we visited and the associated history of the each. She ensured we got to see as many sites as possible despite a multitude of road closures throughout London due to a marathon going on. Bring very comfortable walking shoes as there is a lot of walking, including steps and uneven hard surfaces.

Peter was knowledgeable about the different sites and he was good at keeping our group on a timely schedule. Our driver, Jack, was excellent and he ensured our safety during our travels. Get Ready for Opulence and grandeur

Definitely worth doing. The guided part is 45 minutes long. Very reasonable to do with children. A short introduction to the history of the different palaces on the grounds. Buckingham Palace is beautiful inside. Definitely worth going inside. You will see about 14 out of 780 rooms but they are opulent and give you an idea of the grandeur. You can do all of this without the tour, but the tour guide helps you understand a little bit of the history before you go inside. And it really doesn’t cost anymore than if you just go there directly.

Great value for the money!! Saw so much of London and the tour guide was so nice, offering to take pictures for guests at the various locations. I had Carolina, she was amazing! The Jack the Ripper tour was absolutely amazing, and much of that was thanks to our tour guide, Ana. She was exceptionally knowledgeable, animated, and one of the best storytellers I have encountered in a very long time. Her passion for the subject brought the history to life and made the entire experience truly memorable. Ana was engaging, welcomed questions from the audience, and kept everyone captivated from start to finish. While the topic itself is fascinating, her storytelling is what made this tour stand out. If you’re visiting London, I highly recommend this tour. It was one of the highlights of our trip and an experience I won’t soon forget.
