Great tour and guide

Very well done. You do see most of the popular sites. The short tube ride added to the experience. Very simple to use the tube. Nathaniel was a great guide and I would rank him as one of the best I’ve had over the years. He was extremely knowledgeable and was always looking out for members of the group in crowded areas. We booked a private tour yesterday and had such a wonderful experience! Our guide took us to some absolutely amazing places and made the whole tour interesting, relaxed, and enjoyable. He also knew all the best spots for photos and took so many beautiful pictures of us along the way. It was such a great way to explore and create wonderful memories at the same time. We truly enjoyed every minute of it and would absolutely recommend this tour!

Guided Tour of history of Buckingham Palace.

This was an excellent taster for the British monarchy and its heritage, Delightfully delivered by our Tour guide Marilyn who was a very knowledgeable historian with an easy listening style and a mind-field of facts and figures knowledge. First time we have used City Tours and whilst the guide is only 30 interactive mins from the overall guide, there is enough knowledge passed on meet the most inquisitive of minds. Would highly recommend this !

A delightful trip outside of London.

The trip started early at 7:30am until 6pm. Our Guide Trish was great and very knowledgeable. She had a lot of little details to fill in our time on the bus. It was about 2 hrs to the first of 2 villages in the Cotswolds area. Some of the buildings go back to the 1600s. We had about an hour in each village in which we had a short tour and then the rest of the time to explore on our own. Next we went on to Oxford to see this prestigious university which has been around since the 1200s. It was a long but delightful day.

Our tour guide, Alex, clearly loved the books, the movies, and his job. He kept things fun and interesting the whole time. It is a lot of walking, wear good shoes and have water with you. Amazing tour!! Nigel was incredible - he had extensive knowledge and a map to explain the history of London and the Cotswolds area. He even played us his play list to get us into the English countryside mindset!! Tom was a ton of fun and had great ghost stories! Along the way you hit amazing sites with Easter eggs of history that are very off the beaten path. The icing on the cake for our tour was that a London light drizzle during the unfortunate tale of Margaret Pole produced a rainbow over the Tower of London! (I’m sure ole Maggie was saying hey!!)
