This is the London walking tour which will ensure you are in the best position possible to see the extraordinary Changing the Guard ceremony while avoiding the crowds at the gates of Buckingham Palace. On this small group tour, we see various stages of the ceremony, including the inspection, Old Guard, New Guard, Palaces, and even march alongside the Guards and Ceremonial Bands Not only do we limit our group size to 12 on this tour, we also start a little earlier so that we can see the Horse Guards come on duty as well. Excellent tour, and our tour guide Liam made it all that much better. He was such a fantastic history teller! Worth a return trip!

Our guide, Steve, was full of information about both Rock and Roll and London. He easily engaged his audience and has a great sense of humor. I can't for the life of me remember our driver's name, but he was a navigation wizard on a high traffic day due to the tube drivers' strike. We had booked this trip for last year and missed the bus, so we had to come back to London to try again. It was more than worth it!

A wonderful walking tour of the must see historical landmarks. Ash was such a knowledgeable and captivating tour guide. I can’t speak highly enough of how much we enjoyed Ash’s insights and unending knowledge of England’s history. Highly recommend this activity. Company was a dream to work with as an unexpected closure of Westminster Abbey they offered a number of alternatives to choose from and flexibility.

The Tour Guy London Tour

The Tour Guy did a great job -- especially on a very cold, windy day! He changed his normal path to help us stay out of the wind. He was very knowledgeable about everything in the area, and even introduced us to a surprise horse guard inspection. From the moment we started Ian shared a wealth of information, anecdotes and trivia with us, pointing out landmarks around London and passing out pictures of the various artists taken at the sites we were passing. The tour included a few stops where we got off the bus to stretch our legs and explore or take photos. We had a great driver, as well, and a very comfortable bus. Great tour for rock and roll fans!

That it doesn't start at the Palace - totally on us for not reading the information completely but thankfully we still caught our group with Louise. Had a lot of interesting commentary to cover sites up the Mall but was heavy on American references. Once you get into the Palace, its a Palace based audio tour. Still great, thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
