See costa ricas natural beauty in a day!
This was a long but well organized tour from our all inclusive resort inland to see the rainforest near La Fortuna. It was a good way to get a taste of Costa Rica in a day; we enjoyed some good food, our guide was very helpful on our hike and pointed out lots of wildlife; make sure to bring swimsuits for the thermal pools, we totally forgot and paid a fortune for some when we got there, still worth it though

Fantastic day!
Fantastic day with our excellent guide Maurice and driver Ado. We saw many sloths, howler monkeys and poison dart frogs to name a few. Delicious lunch, beautiful stop at a waterfall and loved the hanging bridges. This was an awesome tour and we learned so much! Thank you Ado and Maurice! Second tour with Frank the Tank-highly recommend!

Great day!
Great day with Ado our driver and Manuel our tour guide. Very informative, well organized and fun! Lots of wildlife on the river including white face monkeys and crocodiles. Delicious lunch and had fun feeding the iguanas. Definitely a worthwhile tour!

It was our first time in...
It was our first time in Costa Rica, and our main travel goal was purely to rest and relax. Still, we had to do at least one excursion for our first visit. We definitely picked the right one! Leon, our guide, was great. He was incredibly accommodating and attentive. We got picked up at our hotel right at 7 AM. He took us to a local spot to grab a delicious Costa Rican breakfast. From there, we got to see the beautiful waterfalls at Llanos del Cortez, taste Costa Rican coffee & chocolate, and walk through a private rainforest to observe the biodiversity. We saw a venomous viper from a distance, sleepy sloths, howler & spider monkeys, and native birds & frogs. We brought our own binoculars but didn't really need them. Leon brought (what I think was) a standing telescope, so we could clearly see eveything his eyes could find. (There is no way we would have spotted most of these animals on our own.) Plus, he was great with helping us get some great photos to create lasting memories of our intro to CR. As if this wasn't enough, the tour ended with lunch at a local spot where we thoroughly enjoyed the food AND we got to visit a butterfly sanctuary. It was a jam packed 7 hour guided tour and well worth the value. Grateful for the pura vida welcome, Leon!
