This is a great opportunity for all tourists coming to Japan. Our group lessons have a maximum of 6 people. Our instructors are all very friendly and want you to have a memorable time with us. Even if you came alone, you would have a great time. We'll introduce some great tips on preparing 3 popular Japanese desserts and You'll discover how to make some Japanese sweets that you might have seen in some Japanese Anime or Manga. You will get all the recipes of the desserts we prepare together. You will be able to make some great Japanese sweets for your family and friends back home. We guarantee they will be surprised!! We will teach you how to make Michelin-starred ramen and the recipes. We are a ramen workshop in Kyoto and the only ramen shop we operate. Musoshin Ramen has six stores around the world. This is the only ramen workshop in Kyoto run by a ramen restaurant, and our classes have many vegetarian and vegan customers. The ingredients for the ramen you cook are brought from the nearby Musoshin Gion store. They are the ingredients for ramen made by the chef the day before. We want people all over the world to eat our ramen. And we want to spread the culture of delicious ramen from here to the world. With that thought in mind, we created Musoshin Ramen Academy.

You can have an Kyoto specific culinary experience in this class. Japan has a long history of vegan cuisine which developed at Buddhist temples. Since killing animals is strictly prohibited in Buddhism, so all the dishes generally don’t contain any animal products such as meat and fish. It's very healthy and well-balanced cuisine featuring seasonal vegetables, soybeans(tofu), grains, seaweed or many fermented foods. We make a variety of dishes inspired by classic Buddhist cooking with modern twists. These delicious dishes make the most of the original taste of local ingredients. It's not difficult to cook at all but you will find the delicacy of Japanese cuisine in every detail of the dish. I'm sure you can enjoy Japanese authentic cooking which you are not be able to taste in the restaurant.

The tea ceremony goes in a small group. The maximum number of people are 6 for each session.But during peak seasons, it will increase to a maximum of 8 people. Experience an authentic tea ceremony, which is near the Zen buddhist monastery Daitoku-ji Temple in Kyoto. Daitoku-ji had many famous priest graduates in the history and has a close relationship with tea ceremony culture which has given a major influence to Japanese culture. We are also not far from the World Cultural Heritage site, the Golden Pavilion Temple. (Kinkaku-ji)It's only four stops away by bus. You’ll be provided with a tea container, tea bowl, tea scoops and whisks, and instruction on how to make matcha. You’ll also enjoy two bowls of matcha and two kinds of Japanese sweets. Tea ceremony is a learned experience, and it leads to enlightenment, similar to Zen’s understanding of realizing the truth through self-discovery.
