What are people saying about Kyoto

Cracking!
Excellent from start to finish. Haruki was super helpful even before the tour started, sending us a Google map of where to meet.
He explained everything as we went, took tonnes of photos for us and was so good with our daughter. The tour itself was a good pace even with the crowds and I’d recommend Haruki and the tour to anyone!

Kyoto 6 hr Gion and nearby temples and highlights tour
Our guide, Olive, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We learned lots of not-common information that made the tour special! Olive is very friendly and knowledgeable and she is keen to share information and do things to make the tour special. We asked for a unique itinerary made by the guide to see 'hidden gems' and she delivered excepionally! Thank you for a wonderful day in Kyoto!!

The best way to see Kyoto
If you want a tailored tour to suit your specific interests then this is the tour for you . A local guide that knows the culture and sights first hand is worth while if you want to experience all that this city has to offer. Our guide Ayako exceeded our expectations due to her insights and the time she has spent in the industry. Thank you Ayako for a very enjoyable day

Great city, people, & food
We had a great time with the host and tour group walking the area around and inside Nishiki Market. I thought all the food was great and a couple of items (various pickles and a croquette) were some of the tastiest we’ve had so far in Tokyo or Kyoto. I can’t remember the guide’s name but he’s an architecture student and was extremely kind and informative and did a great job navigating a group around the busy Nishiki.

Chikako Was amazing!!! Super informative and the foods we tried were so delicious! I literally would’ve never ordered these foods off a menu and it made our Japan trip so worth it! I loved learning about the geisha district as well. Just so beautiful. Thank you for the amazing insight on your culture !! 🖤

Go if you’re curious about sake!
I ended up being the only participant on the tasting led by Mai, but it was an excellent experience. I learned a bunch from the museum but also from Mai’s wealth of knowledge about sake. I tried 10 different sakes which showed the wide range of types available. I feel much more confident ordering sake out by myself now. Thank you so much!

Good long distance tour to Nara and Uji
Candy did a good job handling a large tour group. Can’t very fluent in Chinese and English. Ask not to be in the very tight backseat.
Bus windows need cleaning for better viewing. Important info for some that bus didn’t have a bathroom, so be prepared. Not a deal killer for us.

Wonderful Kyoto tour
The tour covers all the major attractions in Kyoto and if like us if you get Kenjisan as your guide you would get to see a little more. The time given for each attraction was a bit less but we managed. Elderly tourist might struggle to keep up a bit though but Kenjisan was very considerate and even looked for places where we could rest. Kenjisan also took wonderful photos of us everywhere.

Great samurai experience
This was a great activity. They did an awesome job explaining some of the history of the samurai. We learned a few basic sword moves. Everyone got dressed as a samurai and took some photos. And finished with watching a performance by the staff that was excellent. Overall very friendly staff with good sense of humor, but they are good at their craft and did a great performance. Wife and 3 kids all enjoyed the experience

Amazing experience!!
This tour was a great experience!! Ciel was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about the places we were seeing. She also gave us enough free time to walk around. The tea ceremony was what I enjoyed the most, I was really looking forward to it and it exceeded my expectations!! The Japanese lunch was also very nice. Highly recommended tour!!

Ayuri is amazing! She was...
Ayuri is amazing! She was very attentive and gave great knowledge along the tour and hands on experience at the temples is what you're probably looking for. The bamboo forest was amazing, a couple hidden relaxing spots to try to the acidic yogurt drink and a kanji lesson. Ayuri explained everything well with an amazing lunch at the end!

Great experience
I enjoyed the tour very much. It was a hot hot day but most of the walking thru the market was cool and easy. The tastings were interesting and Takuma did a Great job explaining to me a lot of Japanese culture and language. The three hours was more than enough. I was the only one on this tour so Takuma took his time, was very kinda and did a really good job.
