What are people saying about Istanbul

Fantastic
This was easily the best tour we took. Our guide Ayşe was engaged, enthusiastic, and full of surprising and funny anecdotes. She took us through extremely picturesque parts of Istanbul, had us meet traders and chefs and where the best produce is sourced. Breakfast in a garden of sorts - a terrace hosting the seed market - behind a mosque, walking through Kadıköy, sampling lokum and the most gorgeous baklava and (eventually leading us to sahlep!), watching Turkish coffee being prepared, through the spice Bazaar and the fresh produce on the Asian side. Walking in the lovely sundappled shade through beautiful alleys full of antiques, books and carpets, fluffy cats basking randomly in chairs, meeting the huge dogs native to the region, crossing the bosphorus. İt not only encompassed the cultural aspects of food in Istanbul but also the historical which was highly appropriate for a city burgeoning with such a wealth of history and tradition. Her conversation was intelligent and imparted in easy bits; at no time did we get information overloaded or jaded, or become less than starry eyed looking around. She also gave us lots more options to explore in the future. An absolutely amazing tour. İ couldn't praise it enough!

So happy we booked this cruise! So fun!
We had the best time on this river cruise. The staff were friendly, attentive and very professional. We had a VIP so we had a window seat and I highly recommend getting that. I’ve seen the reviews saying they couldn’t find the access point and I honestly don’t understand how you could miss the huge banners along THE RIVER FRONT, you know, where they dock boats? You do have to cross a weird underpass area that’s not easy to navigate so if you are disabled in anyway this would not be easy to access from the opposite direction. Dinner was good, chicken was a bit dry but the sauce used was delicious. The dessert was phenomenal and I wanted 20 of them! The sightseeing can’t be beat that’s for sure. The singer was absolutely amazing and made it so fun! Don’t hesitate to book if you want a bit of everything while relaxing on the water front with this cruise! Would book again!

Excellent private tour of the top sights of Istanbul
An excellent private tour with our guide Zel which explored the main sights in Istanbul including the Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar. Our guide Zel was very friendly and knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. I learned a lot about Turkish history and culture. She took the tour at our pace and we went to a lovely restaurant for lunch. It was a great tour even though it was pouring with rain and we really enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

Our family of 4 had such a great time on this cruise. It was really nice to have the time together to truly enjoy the sights without being on an overly crowded Bato bus. Our tour guide Robert was so much fun and was so knowledgeable about the city. He also did a great job of making the tour fun for the kids. We would definitely recommend this to a small group or family traveling together.

Straddling Europe and Asia, Istanbul harbors two millennia of cultural, religious, and political history. Diving into the cultural melting pot is best done with the help of a guide, and you’ll find Istanbul tours that cover every aspect of the city’s past, present, and future. Explore iconic landmarks like the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, sail between continents on a Bosphorus cruise, experience a traditional Turkish bath, or learn to haggle like a local at the Grand Bazaar. Istanbul is also ground zero for day and multi-day trips, with tours setting out for Troy, Pamukkale, Cappadocia, Ephesus, and beyond.
