Abdullah is the best!!!
Abdullah was amazing! We had a small group so it was more relaxed and we got to ask plenty of questions! Making the coffee was a great learning experience. We had so much fun and it was so different than other experiences when traveling. Highly recommend!

Fun family activity
We did this activity as a family (mom, dad, and 2 kids) and absolutely loved it. We learned a lot about Turkish coffee, and the fortune telling was a very fun and entertaining group experience. Our instructor was engaging, kind, and welcoming. They even give you Turkish coffee cup and saucer set which looks very cute. This class was one of the highlights of our Istanbul trip, and I definitely recommend it! They offer other classes too, and you get a discount for booking more classes. I wish I would have known that sooner so I could’ve booked more classes with the same company. Overall a wonderful experience!

Enjoyable cultural food experience
Gulsah was great. She patiently guided us through cooking her multi-course meal. Food was delicious. My favorite was the yoghurt meatbal soup, really yummy. We are grateful that she invited us into her home and we really got a sense of life for a resident living in Istanbul. The walking tour of her neighborhood where she picked up her food daily was really enlightening. I definitely recommend this experience.
We visited her house on the cooking tour at the end of May. Perfect time to visit Turkey.

Smile as You Cook!
Cooking as it should be! Hosts that make you feel part of their family, sharing dishes and cooking secrets that should be in a cookbook! We made five dishes along with several dips, and it was over the top in a very good way. What a wonderful way to share learning about Turkish and Kurdish cooking!

Must do Fabulous food experience
Erik our food tour guide took us to some of the best and most traditional Turkish food places. We tried everything from stuffed patatoes, stuffed mussels, kabob meat stuffed hand roll and bulgar hand roll and of course baklava for dessert. So delicious!

Incredible & Unique Experience!!
This carpet weaving workshop was such a massive highlight of an already stellar trip to Istanbul! We had a wonderful, in-depth conversation with the instructor, who was so helpful and informative about all the fascinating aspects of Turkish carpets - the history, symbolism, materials, the overall industry, and, of course, how to actually go about weaving our carpet swatches. Not only that, but we really got to connect on a personal and cross-cultural level and ended up spending a fair amount of time just talking about our lives in different places. With his careful and attentive help, our swatches turned out so beautiful! I will always treasure our carpet pieces and the wonderful memories. This experience gets my strongest recommendation, and an easy 5 stars - if you’re in Istanbul, ABSOLUTELY sign up for this!!!

We had such a wonderful experience with this cooking class! From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so welcome in her home. She was incredibly hospitable, kind, and thoughtful throughout the entire experience.
The food was absolutely delicious, and it was so much fun learning how to prepare everything ourselves. One of the best parts was being given the recipes to take home so we can try making the dishes again ourselves.
This felt much more personal and authentic than a typical class, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable experience!

They had a great...
They had a great selection of colors for us to pick from and some helpful easy guides and examples to base our designs off of, while also being flexible if we wanted to try other things. They also provided tea and a small snack of Turkish delights. I loved the size of the lamps, I thought they were perfect for people who are traveling where it's smaller but also enough space to get creative with the designs. Super fun activity and right in the heart of Galata neighborhood, so very accessible.
