We will end our tour at the famous Bull Statue of Kadikoy. From there your guide will explain to you how to get back to the ferries and metro stations. For those who desire to explore the local streets more he/she will help you with where to go.

Great value, lovely tour guide, very well paced. The places they chose to take us to were amazing, the best food we had in that area of the city. Mel was also really great at sharing facts and history and answering any questions, plus gave recommendations for other sights to see.

Eat a light breakfast as the six stops of food and drink will fill you up quickly. Depending on other participants, and your tour host it may take 3 1/2 hours plus so plan your next activity with some buffer time.
Our tour guide Jeremy was very pleasant, and spoke a perfect English.

Food tasting on the Eastern side of Istanbul. This was a 3 hour tour and an easy walk. The food was varied, plentiful and tasty. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend this tour.

We got extremely lucky and enjoyed a private tour with Jeremy. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating providing a lot of history regarding the origins of each dish. Our recommendation is to come very hungry. For us, it’s a lot of food. We had to leave some dishes only partly finished. We over ate because it was all so delicious. Don’t eat for several hours prior. Take some time to wander through area after to work off the food and enjoy the local vibe

We loved being in Kadikoy & getting to taste so much of it! There is SO much food to try in Türkiye that it is as nice to get a running start! I fell in love with a few foods that I sought out the rest of my 2 weeks in Turkey. Yum.

The tour is on the Asia side of the Bosphorus which gives you a different vibe than the European side. Jeremy was our guide and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was great.

We enjoyed this tasty food tour with Jeremy. We sampled about 10 different food and beverages in the 3 hours we were in the Kadikoy district of Istanbul. Jeremy is a resident of Kadikoy and it was nice to be able to try these foods and get commentary from a expert. These are foods that we normally would not have tried on our own. In fact, this was our favorite food tour of our Mediterranean trip and we would enjoy taking this tour again the next time we are in Istanbul.

Fantastic experience, good number of dishes from a varety of regions. Melis explaination of how dishes were made was informative and stories about the different customs and history of the regions very interesting. Also excellent orientation to the Asian side of Istanbul.

This is a must-do experience for travellers to Istanbul. Melis is an incredible guide and easily balanced the needs of the group with the stops she needed us to make. What an unforgettable experience I had on this food tour! When I showed up at the meeting spot, I learned that I was the only person who had booked for the day. That meant that I would have my own private tour! My guide, Melis, was incredibly kind and accommodating. She also possessed a fantastic knowledge of the food and the neighborhood. The food and drinks represented a wide variety of Turkish cuisine, with the items that I tried, carefully curated for taste and cultural significance. It was also wonderful to be able to meet the owners at the various stops and in many cases, see the food being prepared.
I fully recommend taking this tour. You will eat a lot. You will learn about the culture. You will explore theAsian side of Istanbul. And most of all, you will have fun!

I have never done a food tour but this was great! The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I was honestly stuffed after the first stop but the tour was the perfect length/amount of food so I was able to eat at every stop. It was the perfect mix of entrees, snacks, and drinks. This is also a great way to see the Asian part of Istanbul.

Excellent Tour! Our group of 9 ranged in age from 10 to 50 years old and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all. It was a great way to see the city of Istanbul and to learn and experience its culture. Some of group members even helped to prepare food at one of our stops. Our guide, Melis, was knowlegeable and thoughtful and the food was delicious! Out of all the tours we did during our vacation to Greece and Turkey, we all agree this was our favorite. Looking forward to finding a Turkish restaurant to enjoy the food at home.
