We had a wonderful experience on this private tour ! Our guide, Fuat was very knowledgeable and we had an unforgettable day in Istanbul . We saw all the places on the itinerary ( Blue mosque,Hagia Sophia , Topkapı palace,basilica cistern, hippodrome and Grand bazaar ) . These are must-see places in Istanbul ,but you are lucky if you go on the tour with Fuat or a guide from his team . We tried traditional food and it was delicious! At the same time , the hand made silk and wool exhibition at the Grand bazaar was amazing and worth seeing. I definitely recommend this tour to everyone !!

We had an absolutely fantastic private tour of Istanbul with Fuat. We visited many of the city’s iconic sites, including the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar. Fuat brought each location to life with his deep knowledge of Istanbul’s history, culture, and traditions.
Some of the highlights of the day included learning about traditional pottery and trying it ourselves, as well as discovering the intricate rug-making process and seeing the beautiful handmade rugs at a local store. We also enjoyed an incredible local lunch and experienced true Turkish hospitality.
What truly made the day special was Fuat himself. He was warm, friendly, exceptionally knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire day, ensuring everything was tailored to our interests and pace.
We highly recommend Fuat to anyone visiting Istanbul and looking for a personal, informative, and unforgettable experience!

We had an outstanding experience with Nazan and would highly recommend this tour. Beyond the tour itself, Nazan went above and beyond by recommending excellent local restaurants and helping us shop in the Grand Bazaar, teaching us how to negotiate and find quality items. Her warm personality, patience, and local expertise made us feel like we were exploring the city with a friend. My teenage daughters and I booked a private tour in Istanbul while we were here on a long layover. Sude gave us a wonderful tour. She took us to see the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar and brought us to a wonderful local restaurant for lunch. Sude is very knowledgeable and she related so well with my daughters. She really made our visit to Istanbul so special.

Our private, 5-6 hour tour guide, Betul, contacted us via WhatsApp and met the three of us at the Galataport cruise port exit, walked us to the closest tram and headed downtown to Sultanahmet Square. This was the perfect transportation option as traffic is insane! Our first stop in the Old City was the “Blue Mosque” (free). The morning crowd was light and Betul led us thru the “back door” entrance, barefoot with headcoverings in place. The mosaics inside and out were plentiful and just gorgeous! Nearby, the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque ($30) was open but under reconstruction, so we opted out and went to the Topkopi Palace and Museum ($60). Betul has local-guide cred, so we breezed past all the lines to a dedicated ticket window. We each swiped our credit card (no cash/euros accepted). The palace grounds are so lush and green with plenty of shade! Our favorites were the treasury, the guest quarters, the circumcision (!) room and library. The city overlook area is a must. Betul REALLY knew her way around that place, imparting SOOO much information regarding the palace, the treasury collection, the city/country’s history, and life in Istanbul. Plan to spend 2 to 3 hours there as it is massive. Afterwards, we walked around the Hippodrome (“horse path”) plaza (free), discussing several monuments there. Betul then offered to take us to the Basilica Cistern ($37) and the Grand Bizarre, (we had ONLY clocked 15k steps! Haha) but sadly, our feet, knees and hips cried “uncle”, so we decided to board the tram, portbound. Betul was a very knowledgeable, focused, energetic (averages 25k(!) steps per tour), and accommodating guide. We truly enjoyed our day getting to know her and her country’s history. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience with Fuat, our guide. He picked us up at our hotel in Sultan Ahmet area. He gave us lots of information about the major sites of Istanbul. He contacted us early to make sure we were properly dressed to go into the mosques. Because he was a guide we were able to skip the line at all the sites and buy tickets to enter immediately (so nice not to have to prebuy tickets). He gave us the option to hear about pottery making and rug weaving at places which do NOT use the traditional hard sell tactics. We actually got to hear lots of educational information about these tradtional, but dying crafts. I would recommend. him and this tour to anyone coming to Istanbul for the first time.

We were met at our hotel by our very friendly knowledgeable guide, where we took a short tram ride then began our very personalised walking tour of major historical sites including Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Palace, Basilica cistern, Hagia Irene church and visited local businesses introducing us to local art, pottery, rugs and wandered markets to buy delicious treats and tea. Our guide, Funda made the trip fun, interesting and catering to our requests and interests.

We had the most fabulous experience with our guide Faut. He was very knowledgeable about all the historic sites we visited, including which shops and areas we should go to. I really enjoyed the ceramic workshop and the carpet weaving experience. We were expecting a normal guide experience, but Faut made it an unforgettable day!

I had an incredible experience touring the Sultanahmet area with Fuat! He is an outstanding guide who is incredibly knowledgeable about Istanbul’s history and culture. At every stop—including the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace—he shared fascinating facts and stories that made each site come alive.
Fuat was patient, friendly, and took the time to answer every question I had throughout the day. He also recommended an excellent local lunch spot where I got to enjoy some delicious Turkish food.
On top of that, he went above and beyond by taking great photos of me at each landmark and even carrying my shopping bags throughout the tour, which made the entire experience so much more enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely thoughtful guide in Istanbul, I can’t recommend Fuat enough. He made my day unforgettable, and I would absolutely book another tour with him. Thank you, Fuat!

Fuat was very friendly and experienced guide. He was very patient with us asking many questions and taking lots of pictures. Very clear explanation and good speed on the tours. Just as an opportunity to be prefect, may be not spending too much time at the shopping places, that can be recommended to return after the tour. At least we were not very interested on purchasing much. But the tour and the guide were 1st class!!

This was one of our best guide experiences.NAZAN is extremely knowledgeable, she was able to guide us through our first day in Istanbul and managed to take us to not only the sites that were on the tour, but an amazing restaurant as well as guidance on how to shop in the bizarre! She’s also very patient, which is important for us because we know we can be a lot! We had so much fun with her. It was like touring around with your very capable best friend! We had a wonderful day in Istanbul on the first day of our holiday, and we had the opportunity to see the main landmarks (Blue Mosque, basilica cistern, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and Grand Bazaar). We were very impressed by Topkapi Palace because of its magnificent gardens, and the other places were also beautiful. Our tour guide, Fuat Peker, was very knowledgeable; I highly recommend him. After a lovely lunch, we went to the Grand Bazaar and visited some artisans – we saw a handmade carpet demonstration and learned about its history, then we were fascinated by the clay pot making demonstration. The good thing was that we also had the chance to try making clay pots. The tour was perfect from beginning to end, I recommend it to everyone.

Our guide Volvan is why I gave this a poor rating! He was on his phone constantly, walked us to Topaki palace gardens gave us a brief history and said to return on our own, had me “limp” to skip the line and get into the Blue mosque without waiting, took us to a ceramic place for a demo (and expected to buy) a water id 45 minutes, went to a local lunch which was fine but needed to pay for his AND he ate the chicken kabob I counted finish off my plate 😳 We saw all the sites but not impressed with this guide.

Your comment is completely untrue and nothing short of defamation, as well as being insulting and misleading to other guests who will be joining the tour in the future. We had an excellent private tour of Istanbul and would highly recommend it.
Our guide was knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly efficient. We visited the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Basilica Cistern, and Topkapi Palace, and he helped us bypass numerous lines, allowing us to maximize our time at each site.
One thing we particularly appreciated was that he made the experience feel authentic rather than commercial. He accompanied us to a traditional rug workshop where we learned about the art and history of Turkish rug making. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase anything—just a fascinating educational experience. The same was true when he took us to a clay-making demonstration; it was interesting and informative, with no sales pressure whatsoever.
Throughout the day, he also helped shield us from the constant sales pitches that can sometimes be overwhelming in tourist areas. Beyond the tour itself, he provided an extensive list of local restaurants, cafés, and shopping recommendations that were off the typical tourist path, which greatly enhanced the rest of our stay in Istanbul.
If you're looking for a guide who is professional, knowledgeable, well-connected, and genuinely focused on creating a great experience rather than selling products, this tour is an excellent choice.

Everything that we wanted to see was within easy walking distance of each other.
Our guide was on time and very knowledgeable about all the places we visited and other things along the way.
Sila our guide contacted us in advance with regard to appropriate clothing for the mosques which was really helpful.
Sila also went at our pace and built in time for stops and refreshments.
After a short while Sila was more than a tour guide but became a friend. A lovely person with a great sense of humour.
