Great Van - Luxury

A Fantastic Experience.

Our guide Mehmet was absolutely fantastic. His knowledge of the history and religions was amazing. We had such a wonderful time and learnt so much about Istanbul and its history. The Hagia Sofia the blue mosque the hippodrome the basilica cistern and the grand bazaar truly fantastic! I would recommend this tour to everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I believe that was because of our extremely knowledgable guide.

Istanbul comes to life

Lutfi was an excellent guide. He made the rich and sometimes violent history of Istanbul come to life. We learned so much during our tour. His thoughtfulness extended to bringing tissues lfor adies to use in the bathroom on the ship. Highly recommend.

A good overall experience!

The skip the line part makes entry and exit much easier and smooth which is a big help. The sites are all fascinating. You get a feel for the city and what it has to offer from the tour. Juts be aware it is a lot of walking and also the mosques require you to be covered in a certain way, but the organizers let you know that in advance so it’s easy to plan accordingly.

The tour was a good experience, and I’m glad I selected this particular one. The type of boat was good for the amount of people and comfortable sitting, snacks and drinks were provided. Cecil was a good tour guide and spoke with confidence explaining the sites and scenery.

Beautiful boat and beautiful experience

Very lovely experience on the boat, got to see both sides of Turkey. Enjoyed the snacks on the boat. Most importantly, the boat is really beautiful. It has multiple areas to chill very very well maintained and the staff is extremely pleasant. Would highly recommend for a chill morning.

Great value for money, a full 2 hour cruise, great pictures of the sunset, easy to understand meeting-point instructions (sent to us on the afternoon before the cruise) and a fabulous ‘live’ audio commentary in both English and Turkish. Very highly recommended.

Excellent experience. They’ll reach out as soon as you book to send detailed instructions on meeting points and the boat picture. You will enjoy all the important monuments from the water. The guide (Sheila) was giving fun facts and the most important things to know. She even gave us recs on where to have lunch later. It was a very nice experience. You will have plenty of time to take pictures.

Wow! Istanbul is amazing!

This was an incredible experience to see so much of historical Istanbul with the help of a knowledgeable guide. Hazal, our guide, was terrific and helped us navigate the crowded sites and recommend a great spot for lunch. A private tour is the best way to see the important sites in Istanbul with such time available on a cruise stop.

Istanbul Impressario

It was a highly informative and educational tour for my wife and I. We learned detailed information about the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, tour of a Government subsidized rug store close to the Bazaar and lunch thereafter at an authentic Turkish restaurant, where we were served with an appetizer, kebab and dessert. Following lunch, we toured the Spice Market, which had exotic tastes and fragrances. This was then followed by a cruise tour of the Bosphorus. The entire tour was conducted and led by the knowledgeable Mr. Ali. He is definitely "the Istanbul impressario"; everything about Istanbul and more... We truly enjoyed the itinerary and even more, Ali made the difference!!!!
