A feast for the Spirit and Soul

Had a lovely tour with Zeynep. Started with street food and Turkish delights which were delicious and kept tummies happy till dinner at around 8:15pn. Some really handy local tips and knowledge. The Dervishes were a genuinely spiritual experience and amazing spectacle- remember no clapping - was really tough to resist! Dinner was an amazing feast in a really popular (it was full of locals) family run restaurant next the Roman aqueduct. We tried so many local specialities, all explained by Zeynep who was a lovely host. Couldn’t have eaten another bite! Would highly recommend the entire evening

Fantastic half day tour of the old town area. “J” did a great job explaining the history of the area and significance of the places visited. Picked us up in hotel lobby and brought us back when finished. We even managed to get in an extra stop in addition to quick stop Traditional Turkish Tea and Coffee. Small Taste of Istanbul

Our tour of Istanbul with Korhan was fantastic. The skip-the-line is worth the price of the tour alone. Korhan clearly loves his city and knows it well. All his recommendations and tips were perfect. Galeyan, his recommendation for lunch, was excellent for food, service, and view. His suggestion we shop outside the Grand Bazaar and just walk through it for the experience was spot on. Sadly, this tour only gave a taste of Istanbul, but enough that we will be going back for a longer stay.

Fantastic quick tour of...

Fantastic quick tour of some of the most famous sites in Istanbul. Beritan was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the mosques and was able to answer all of our questions about the history of istanbul and general questions about Islam in general. This tour was especially good for me because it was only about 3 hours which allowed me to get to my flight on time. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour but especially if you're on a time constraint!

Good experience but coordination didn’t go exactly as planned

The coordinator of this tour reached out the day before about the meeting time and location, specifying our boat will be “ibrahim naral”. When we got there we couldn’t find any boat named ibrahim naral, but eventually someone came check us off the list, and pointed out a boat for us. But it was NOT ibrahim naral, which we later found out was occupied only by another tour group. Also, in the listing it says “free bottled water included”, but when on board they told us it’s 50 lira each…..They did provide free hot tea and biscuits half way though.

This was a great experience. Had great communication over WhatsApp on where to meet and when with helpful tips on using public transportation. The tour was enjoyable with a knowledgeable guide and attentive staff. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Over the top service by our tour guide who walked us to the metro afterwards and instructed us on how to get back to our hotel. Great experience!
