Unreal experience

The most amazing experience in Hawaii! Swimming with these beautiful creatures was surreal. Even my husband who was adamant of not going in the water eventually came in and is so happy to got to experience this. This definitely helped me overcome my fear of sharks and deep water. I felt so calm in the ocean especially with the safety divers right next to me. If you’re going to book ONE activity, make it this one!

Great crew and tour

It was a really fun boat ride. Got to see more of the island which was really nice. Our captain Jamie was very good about pointing out land marks around the coast and providing a bit of history which was really cool. My husband and I traveled with our 19mo old. He liked the boat, but the water was a bit choppy when we went out, and I think it was a bit much for him. He ended up sleeping the whole tour. We didn’t get to see any whales, big storms had just rolled through right before our tour so I didn’t have much hope, but we did see like 30 spinner dolphins jumping and doing flips around our boat which was really cool. We got to see some sea turtles as well. Our crew was really friendly and funny. Since we didn’t see whales we have the opportunity to take another tour, an offer that doesn’t expire, which I think is amazing. I’m not sure when we’ll make it back out to Hawaii, but when we do, we’ll go out with pink sails again.

Must do experience while on the Big Island!

We had an amazing snorkeling trip to Captain Cook on the Big Island and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our guide, David, went above and beyond to make sure we had a relaxing and memorable time. We went as a family with three of our kids, ages 11, 14, and 17, and it was something all of us truly enjoyed. The smiles, laughter, and excitement from our teens was the best part! The water was absolutely beautiful—clear, calm, and full of marine life. David was outstanding and took the time to explain different areas of the ocean as well as interesting details along the coastline, which made the trip both fun and educational for the kids and adults alike. After we finished snorkeling, we were treated to delicious, fresh pineapple, which was the perfect way to end our time in the water. It was such a thoughtful touch and very much appreciated. We were especially impressed with how conscious the crew was about protecting the reef. They clearly emphasized keeping the reef clean and untouched, which made us feel good about snorkeling responsibly and respecting the natural environment. Overall, this was a memorable experience for our whole family, and we would absolutely recommend this snorkel trip to anyone visiting the Big Island.

Best Ever!!

This tour was absolutely incredible from start to finish. We didn’t just get what was promised—we got an unforgettable experience. We saw whales, swam with dolphins, and had an amazing snorkeling session in crystal-clear water. The crew truly made the day exceptional. They were knowledgeable, fun, and clearly passionate about what they do. The highlight for me was when I accidentally lost my GoPro—and one of the crew members free dove nearly 80 feet to retrieve it. That level of effort and care is something you just don’t see every day. Everything was well organized, the lunch was great, and the entire experience felt seamless and relaxed. If you’re even considering this tour, book it. Easily one of the best experiences of our trip.

Great experience. We saw lots of dolphins and one whale. Snorkeling was nice. But not a lot of tropical fish. Wish we could have snorkeled in shallow water. The crew was great and food yummy. Nice to have a photographer there taking pics throughout the trip. Well worth our time and money.
