Totally Awesome!

Took my husband, bonus son in law, daughter in law and the 3 grand kids on this amazing excursion! The up-close experience changed their narrow view point of Manta Rays to one of awe and wonder!, A trip we will never forget. Absolutely the best captain and crew to get us there safe and sound, watch over us while in the water, and return us to the harbor safely! Would highly recommend Hang Loose Boat Tours!

Excellent experience! Signed up solo and had a great time. Shuttle service was luxurious, boat was big and staff were friendly. Lunch was provided with food allergy accommodation and tasty cocktails at the bar on board. If you’re looking at a catamaran boat tour, this one was top tier.

These wonderful people...

These wonderful people really treat you like Ohana. They want to make sure you are comfortable and safe during the entire trip. From the moment of pick up to drop off it was a very pleasant tour. I was traveling alone and got lucky and only had 5 others were booked with me. So it was a much more personal experience. We got to se a few dolphins where other boats that went out didn’t see anything. We also stopped by to see turtles and got to hold an octopus. The snacks, drinks and lunch were a nice bonus and very delicious. I loved hearing stories from the crew and the Island and Hawaiian culture too.

Snorkeling Along the Kona Coast

Great snorkeling in small group, great mask and snorkel, had to pay extra for fins. But lower overall cost than other snorkeling tours. Daniela was a great captain and her partner "Jack" (not sure of his name) was wonderful too. Great story telling and helped me get back in boat, with my foot injury I was worried, but it was no problem!

Thank you to the whole team for these four shark excursions — it was an amazing experience. Thank you for offering photos and videos for free; this is truly what made me choose your company the first time. Thank you for allowing us to swim freely and enjoy the experience to the fullest, without being tied to a rope or staying close to the boat (as I experienced with another company). P.S. Please let the girl handle the photos and videos. On Monday, it was a man taking the pictures and almost none of them were sharp or successful. 😁😁 Having someone experienced makes a big difference, so we can have beautiful photos to show our family and friends.

Amazing whale watching experience - totally worth it!

We did the 8 AM tour on May 11th, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Captain Henore and the guide were incredibly patient, informative, and made sure everyone had a great view of the whales and dolphins while explaining everything along the way. Even though it wasn’t peak whale season, we were lucky enough to spot a whale and so many dolphins! We got to sail alongside them for quite a while, giving us plenty of time to take pictures and enjoy seeing them up close, it was truly unforgettable. As an added bonus, we even spotted a turtle while nearing the shore. The entire experience felt very well organized and definitely worth the money. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Maui! A big thank you to Captain Henore and the team for such a memorable experience.

Jill and Lexi are awesome! Professionals and fun to be around

First time going snorkeling and I had a great time! Lexi was very caring and helped me feel safe and comfortable in waters where my feet would not touch. She kept checking on me making sure I was doing okay! Great woman! Jill was great and kind, she spent some time of our trip watching a whale and its calf playing, which was amazing! Gave us a lot of information about the whales, and the island. Although we did not come across de the Dolphins I still had a great time and would do it again if I visit Maui in the future. Definitely recommend to people who have never been snorkeling before and want to give it a try, also for people who have experience snorkeling, they know amazing spots where there is corals and tons of fish. I also recommend it for solo travelers!

Fun crew, great adventure, and DOLPHINS!!

Best bonus = add-on photo package with Lauren!! This was a fun, relaxing adventure with the kids. We saw dolphins, a few turtles, and did some snorkeling. The crew was experienced, worked well together, and were fun! Dani, the boat captain was wonderful, and our boat hostess and team were fun, entertaining and kept our adventure rolling along. They sprinkled in fun surprises and authentic Hawaiian touches (like a song to ask the ocean to open to us, and hula dancing, and.... - well just go and find out!!). The 2-story slide was an awesome touch during the snorkeling because the kids and kids at heart loved it. The slide helped my kid enjoy the snorkeling time even more. But the best part was the professional photo package from Lauren (with credit card charges, about $80) that allowed us to enjoy the adventure and put the phone up (at least for most of the time - hard habit to break for some candid moments). The views were amazing, the water sparkling blue, and the adventure was perfect.

What an AMAZING excursion. More than what I expected.

OMG. This excursion was thrilling. Such close encounters with whales. I was like a kid in a candy store. Who whales showed up close to the boat so we had to shut off engines per regulations. The whales put on an AMAZING show. Slapping fins, tails and breaching. Swimming past under the boat. Such an opportunity for great pictures and videos. Highly recommend this excursion during peak whale season. Definitely a good time.
