Waikiki Dive Center is the most iconic and the oldest PADI 5-Star dive center on Oahu, the only dive shop conveniently located in the heart of Waikiki since 1979. Please arrive to the dive shop 15 minutes before the scheduled time at 424 Nahua Street Honolulu, Hawaii.

- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
- Beginners will be grouped separately from certified divers in general. Private instructor is available should you prefer to dive with your parties.
- All change and cancellation must be requested 48 hours prior to the trip check-in time.
- Must review the medical questionnaire and as required, obtain medical doctor's consent for your diving ahead of time. Failed medical by check in time will incur in full booking charge.
- Must not fly within 18hours after diving. Cancellation within 48 hours will incur all booking cost.
- Any non-certified beginners shall review our medical questionnaire prior to book this tour. The purpose of the review shall ensure ample time in obtaining licensed physician's consent for diving activities before checkin. Failed medical questionnaire will forfeit all reimbursement if not cancelled within 48 hours. Please click on the link attached on the ticket once book to obtain medical form as required
- Must not consume alcohol before diving
- Optional Private Instructor available for personalized attention and experience. Inquire 24 hours prior to check-in.
- Do research and book only PADI website recommended dive center operators

The scuba experience was cancelled by company (due to lack of instructors) but I still haven't gotten my refund.

Aloha Alicia - It is clearly a misunderstanding of two separate issues. 1) We do not have the permission or your payment to process a refund directly back to you because you didn't book with us or pay us directly. Operators don't receive any payment for 45 days after the service is rendered. In this case, we did, however, notify TripAdvisor the same day (at 3:50 pm) that the tour was cancelled. We are not responsible for when a third party you booked with processes a refund back to you. We are sorry, but this is a different issue over which we have no control. 2) We apologize for a family emergency of one instructor; this doesn't reflect our service quality. If you call us directly, we may be able to help you follow up with the third party you booked with for your refund. We kindly ask that you understand you blamed the wrong person.

Great beginner diving trip. Our master diver Matt was amazing. He helped me youngest beginner diver feel comfortable underwater very quickly.
The five spot was great for watching turtles.

I'm a certified open water diver and due to work constraints, I signed up for these dives. I wasn't disappointed. Did two 60' dives and enjoyed great visibility while seeing a wide range of sea life including sea turtles, eels, and rays. Even saw a humpback whale on the boat ride between dives.

This was our 2nd time diving as certified divers. Our instructor Chad did a great job in holding back a little and having us do the steps ourselves. It helped us to remember what to do. You can’t learn anything if someone always does it for you. Of course he still double checked our work before heading out so we always felt safe and in good hands. He and captain Jim kept us safe the entire dive. Would recommend this company for diving anytime.

My wife, grandson and I went on this dive today. My wife and I have not dove in over 10 years and my grandson who just turned 18 has never dove. Chris and the team did an outstanding job making this a fun, exciting and safe adventure. I highly recommend this scuba excursion!

Perfect adventure for our honeymoon. We saw all kinds of tropical fish, sea urchins, and a sea star. We felt very comfortable and had a blast the entire time. The staff are incredibly kind and patient. Would recommend!

I unfortunately sustained a small foot injury that kept me from diving but I still snorkeled around the boat and the crew was wonderful!! Water was gorgeous and I had fun watching the others descend. Next time I will be more careful 🥰🙏

This was a great adventure. The staff was friendly, the boat was clean, and the equipment was in working order. However, for some reason after 40 minutes of diving, I was very sick. I don’t get sea sick ever, but 5 people including myself were puking our guts out. We were thinking that it was unfiltered “bad air” in our tanks but there’s no way to prove that. Overall, it was a neat experience to see the sea life, but I was sick for 4 hours afterwords.

We are sorry to hear. Our air is tested and certified on schedule by an independent professional company who does the same service for fire departments. We don’t know what caused it but come and board the biggest dive boat on the island next time. Thank you for your feedback.

An absolutely AWESOME 2 tank dive. I have been a certified diver since my time in the Navy in the late 70's. My 17 yo son, who is not certified, was TOTALLY taken care of. 2nd tank, was just he and I and his new "Hawaiian Uncle", the dive master. A fantastic Christmas day!

As a first time diver I was very excited and a little nervous. Jared, Scott and Nick gave clear, calm instructions so that once I was in/under the water I was comfortable and would not panic. The experience itself was great as we got to see the biggest sea turtle ever along with lots of fish and coral. It would have been really cool to see some different sites on the second dive which is the only reason I did not give this 5 stars. However, be advised, this activity is not for everyone as several people in our party could not complete the dives for respiratory reasons and/or got seasick. Even I have a pretty strong tolerance for movement and I found myself getting very queasy on the surface of the water and this feeling took a bit to resolve. But overall this experience was awesome!

The instructors were absolutely brilliant, they were immersed in environmentally friendly practices and they were extremely careful with beginner divers. Initially with the constraints of the wetsuit and the weight of the scuba equipment I didn’t think I was able to do it after some careful instruction I jumped into the water into a different world and my life changed can’t think the instructors enough on they have opened my eyes.

Chad, our dive instructor was awesome. His patience with 4 beginners like us, with no SCUBA experience whatsoever, was unparalleled. He took care of us and always ensured that we received the utmost attention we needed despite some of the challenges we encountered - choppy water, goggles not fitting well, and having trouble equalizing. The rest of the staff are very welcoming and accommodating - from the time we walked in to the store, drove to the bay, did the dive, and came back to the store - which made this experience a memorable one. My daughters and son did amazingly! We saw a sea turtle and so many colorful fish!! My son is 11 and I was worried he would have difficulty but he did better than I did!!
