Complete experience in Hanoi
The cooking class was great, Collin is an exceptional teacher! He taught us how to make: Bun Cha and Banh Xeo. He explains things very well to us. My English is really bad and he took the time to repeat or change the sentence to help me! Thank you very much!

Walking tour with Hanoi Free Tour Guide.
I researched the Hanoi Free Tour Guide on Google for my trip to Hanoi. Since I thought the main reason of educational exchange and getting to know the country and the locals was great anyway, I submitted a tour request via their website. I received a response and was also told the general terms and conditions, especially what is included and what requires extra payments. My tour guide was Ethan. He picked me up directly from the hotel and we discussed the tour individually. The day was also very hot and the highlight was the visit to Hasai Coffee.🫶🏻 All in all, it was very worth it for me and I can recommend it to every Hanoi visitor. 👍🏻

Recommended cooking classes in Hanoi
Our cooking teacher is Vy, fluent in English and enthusiastic, and the teaching is very detailed and interesting! I also met classmates from Norway and Ireland in the small class. I am very happy to attend this cooking class and enjoy delicious meals with my classmates afterward, I am truly happy!

Amazing, Comprehensive, Insightful Tour
This is a tour run by a not for profit organisation which allows students and other hanoi locals to practice their English and to train themselves to be professional tour guides. The initiative is so cool, so lovely, and we were so glad we signed up for this over some "professional" tour. Our guide Hung was fantastic and was indistinguishable from a professional guide. His English was impeccable, his explanations were deep, and he was so excited to answer the many questions we had about his city and his country. We did a tour of the prison, the temple of literature, and the ngoc son temple. Unfortunately, the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum was undergoing restoration/renovation and we couldn't visit there, which was unfortunate given the depth and context which Hung gave us about all the other sites we visited! The guides never make you feel obliged to give them a certain fee/tip, but by the end of the tours you want to be generous not just out of decency but to show appreciation and reward the phenomenal job they do. Love you Hung, and still thinking of you 1 week on!
