We had such a wonderful time with Huy as our guide — It was such an amazing experience! He had a fantastic energy, was so kind and took such great care of our group. We went to the most amazing spots, everywhere was full of locals. He also provided us with a great list of recommendations afterwards. Highly highly recommend to anyone going to Hanoi!!

Our food guide was very friendly and chatty. We had him to ourselves so we could ask him lots of questions about the food but also about Hanoi and Vietnam. He was very open about his food choices and his life, and asked us all about ourselves too. He was very easy to get on with and clearly enjoyed showing us his favourite places to eat. He also ate with us which was great. His food choices were lovely....nothing too adventurous or out of the ordinary...just good food.

Fantastic experience led by our chef Emmy! We started off heading out the market to buy some of the ingrdients we needed. This was so interesting learning about the meat required, the different fruit, veg and herbs that you probably dont recognise from home and the different types of noodles. Then back to the kitchen to start cooking - and be prepared... this is not a 'watch someone else cook' kind of class - you are going to get involved. We made Pho, Bun Cha, Spring Rolls, Egg Coffee and Papaya Salad. Some things like the Spring Rolls everyone makes, other recipes you are contributing to before ending the class with a feast of all the food we had prepared - and it was all so good! Emmy was a great leader - confident, a great communicator both in her clear instructions and her information and anecdotes about where some of the ingredients came from and what we could substitute them for at home, and a great sense of humour about our cooking failures! She is clearly very passionate about her city and cooking heritage and we learnt so much from her. We all went away very full and with a cookery book of recipes including those we had made with her to try at home. Weve been home a week and already made the Bun Cha and Papaya Salad - they were so good!!!

Nora did a great job explaining things and making sure we all participated in the cooking class. While we were in the market buying the ingredients needed to cook with she even tried to teach a little Vietnamese to us. We got a little off course because one of the guests have a special request and Nora tried her hardest to accommodate. In the future it would probably be better to say no to special requests but I know it is hard for them to say no because they are so accommodating. I still give her a five-star for the extreme effort she made and how pleasant she was to work with

After much training with her colleagues, this was Kahn’s first solo with customers all by herself! It was OUR honor to be her first two customers! She was as nice as could be, spoke great English, and answered all of our questions and concerns from my wife and I. She took us to great local food venues which we enjoyed very much. Also spoke of her family life and what it is like growing up in Hanoi. Definitely we would recommend this tour for anyone and everyone of all ages. Thank you so much Kahn for a great time!! Also wanted you to know that we noticed you watching us intensely as we caught our taxi ride back to hotel, making sure we were safe. (We waved goodbye but you couldn’t see us through the tinted glass) Excellent job!

Day 1 review - The journey time was gruelling over 250km of road (5-6 hours). Once there the views were spectacular & quiet, scenic tracks in the country. Su (our guide) accommodated the group's needs and pointed out to us the best photo points. Thank you Su for looking after the group!

Got taken on the half day tour by Walter and Rose and it was lovely! We got picked up at our hotel and driven to the 5-6 of the most popular spots in Ha Noi. Our tour guides were so friendly and joyful. They offered to cater the tour to how we wanted it, as in whether we wanted to go into certain museums and attractions or spend more time or not at one area over another. We learned a lot of history and fun facts, and they took so many great photos of us. They even treated us to some egg coffee and coconut coffee. Then when we asked for a lunch recommendation they even brought us to a popular spot and helped us order (since my Vietnamese is so bad haha). We loved our time and really felt like we knew the city much better. Highly recommend!

Very fun, great food, and our tour guide, isabelle was a delight! She spoke very good English and had lots of information to share - answered all of our crazy questions and was just fun to chat to! We did the tour that included train street and even though the train was delayed Isabelle and the eating venues still managed to keep us entertained and well fed.
