Very informative. Was about a 2 1/2 hour walk in the old town. Did not drop off at pickup point. So made the walk about 20 minutes longer.
Uphill climb at several locations, only one restroom break, bring water. Guide was excellent and had good insight to history of the area.
Lovely walk seeing the sites. Our tour guide Duncan was very knowledgeable. Walk was not strenuous and the 2.5 hours was the perfect amount of time.

Great walking tour of Halifax - must do! Our guide Glenn was fantastic. We hit many significant sites in Halifax and learned so much. Lots of history with humour sprinkled in. The pace was just right.

Very interesting walking tour. Andrienne was a very inyeresting, knowledgeable guide. Covered a total of 2.5 miles, mostly flat but a couple areas of stairs/hills. Bathrooms available at midpoint. Wished we could have taken 10 minutes to pop in a shop or two, but this was a shopping excursion. Halifax is a beautiful city with lots of history.

I m sorry I didn't catch the name of our guide. He was fabulous. Very friendly, very respectful, very entertaining. Also, very considerate and thoughtful - he would pause when a loud truck went by. One funny incident - he moved us all 25 feet or so before the noon cannon fired, so we wouldn't be in the way of the 100 or more pigeons near by, knowing they would be frightened by the cannon.

A nice tour of the city at a leisurely pace. There are some gradual inclines involved. Our guide Victor Fraser was very informative; I learned a lot.

An informative tour at a leisurely pace!. It was a really hot day but Zack found shade to keep us cool every time he stopped to tell us some history or point out architecture. We went from the harbofront to the Citadel gradually. It is an excellent orientation and introduction to Halifax.

Susan Saturday was our hottest day so far this year . Victors knowledge of our geography and historic buildings along with our exceptional trees even in downtown Im sure helped, with finding shade.

This tour gave us a great background of the history of HalifX and all of Nova Scotia. The walk was not very strenuous and we saw the highlights of Halifax with time to take a break and refresh. The director was knowledgeable,fun, and accommodating to all. I don't recommend this tour for kids. The family in our group needed to leave partway through. Not great fun for most kids.

Pretty standard tour hitting the highlights downtown. Fog and rain didn't help, but Victor did his best to make this a positive experience. Probably a bit too much walking for young children or those with mobility issues. We lost 50% of our group during the tour.
