Worth spending your whole day on this excursion!

The excursion was great! I was a little worried about dedicating a whole day to this excursion, but it was so lovely and worth it! Cansel was our tour guide and she was amazing! She kept it timely and efficient while being fun and engaging with her stories! The drive didn’t feel too long and each castle was really magical. There was a bit more walking than I thought so bring comfy shoes. Overall, this was very worth the money and spending a whole day on this tour!

Our guide Nick provided us with a very poignant tour of Dachau. He taught us much that yielded moments of strong reflection. He did so with an appropriate leaning toward solemnity with the occasional light-heartedness, all done with an appropriate amount of respect. Our family of six, with four adult children, were profoundly moved by the experience and are thankful for it. We highly recommend this tour and Nick.

This was a perfect tour to explore the beauty of Bavaria and its iconic Neuschwanstein Castle. Our tour guide, Lana, had extensive local knowledge of the area and the history of King Ludwig II. My family of four with two college-aged kids enjoyed all that we were able to do. Lots of stairs in the castle and I highly recommend paying for the bus ride up to the castle and walking back down. Gorgeous area. I could have spent the whole day there exploring the Hohenschwaungau Castle as well.

This VIP tour is worth it! Cansel was our tour guide and she was great! I was a little grumbly because there was a lot of uphill walking and I have a bum leg, but she was very compassionate and understanding and not trying to judge or rush us. She was knowledgeable and funny. I loved the variety of snacks on the bus and all the drinks. The chairs were leather and huge! I was so comfortable and happy and this has been my favorite activity in Bavaria so far! If you want to see the castles and learn about Bavaria, this is the tour for you! Spend a little extra and get a lot of bonuses!
