Two of the most wonderful places to visit in Florence. This tour was fantastic, the guide spoke excellent English and had a wealth of knowledge. It was well organised but most importantly it beat the queues. It is most important I think to be on a guided tour as you will always get to see and understand the beauty of this wonderful city. Best Experience of our Trip!

Our tour was led by Ginevra and we just had the best time. She is very knowledgeable and charismatic. We were taken to Poggio Torselli and Poggio al Sole, both amazing and beautiful wineries. We got a full estate tour with Poggio Torselli and learned so much about chianti wine! This tour is 100% worth every dollar, and we enjoyed the tastings and food especially with a small group. The truck was sick too and we really had a fun time. Thank you Walkabout Tours!

Informative and entertaining experience even on a busy day

We visited on a Tuesday, which is apparently the busiest day for Florence museums. So despite having a skip-the-line ticket we had to wait in quite a long line to get in with the other tour groups (not the tour company's fault, to be clear). Despite *that*, our guide Francesca did an awesome job keeping us all entertained while waiting, and gave us quite a thorough lesson on the history of the Medici family, really setting the stage for the museum we were about to see. Inside the museum she also did a good job shepherding us through the crowds and getting good views of some of the major works (this review is for the Express tour), along with a wealth of local and historical knowledge to bring the art to life.

Stunningly beautiful countryside

The Tuscan countryside is beautiful!! The bus ride was very comfortable. Kudos to the driver Ali. The guide, Ricardo, was excellent. He spoke clearly in English and Spanish. He was extremely accommodating. Paid attention to detail in order that everyone on this tour was well informed and was comfortable with the different sections of the tour.

Trip to Cinque Terre includes bus and train drive, but none of this is too complicated. Our tour guide Alex was very informative and patient and he took good care of the whole group. Cinque Terre villages are really beautiful and definitely worth visiting. Pisa is also nice. You have enough time to explore every town in this itinerary. Highly recommend.

Wine tour

It was very nice. The tour guide told stories about the area while driving. It was an hour and a half ride out but she only talked at the beginning giving people time to enjoy a quiet ride. The wine locations were very nice. The host at Grace winery did a fantastic job telling about the vineyards and wine business. And I loved the set up in both locations where they did the tastings.

Great trip!

Excellent experience.... loved this day trip! San Gimignano was my favorite and would have loved more time there. Also...take the umbrella or poncho... you never know when they'll be a downpour on a 0% chance rain day. 😂 You ARE allowed to leave things on the bus, so you won't have to carry them around every stop.

Easy half day tour of Cathedral and tower of Pisa

After meeting our guide it was a seamless experience traveling by bus and then walking to the town square of Pisa. The cathedral was breathtaking! Our guide even had storage lockers preserved for our bags while we climbed the leaning bell tower. We had adequate free time to continue exploring on our own and to take more pictures. We arrived on schedule back to Florence. Highly recommend for a half day trip from Florence!
