This tour was soooo much fun. Our tour guide Lafayette was incredible at maintaining our attention and keeping the group engaged. We learned a lot of fun facts and had a few scares along the way. The best part was definitely seeing part of the underground while hearing spooky tales. Would definitely recommend!

Full-day trip to the Highlands which are absolutely a "must see" when in Scotland especially if you are short on visit time. Tour guide Steve B was great and a wickedly skilled driver. There are some add-on experience options at Loch Ness which we chose to do, but not required.

My husband and I had a wonderful time on our Loch Ness and Highlands tour with Heart of Scotland Tours. We are so thankful to have had Angela as our tour guide - she was incredibly knowledgeable and made the trip extremely worthwhile. The trip itself involved a great balance between seeing the beauty of the highlands and learning about its rich history. While we were on the bus a lot, all of the stops were well-timed and really helped break up the day. We would recommend for anyone visiting Edinburgh.

Our tour guide, Mally, was absolutely fantastic. He was so engaging and made you feel like you were in medieval Scotland. We learned about Mary Queen of Scots, King James, Lord Darnly, and so many more folks who made up this soap opera. We loved it. Be warned, it is a lot of walking on hard stone, which can be a terror on the feet. If you cannot walk for hours on end and across a significant slope (Edinburgh is built on a volcano), this may be difficult. However, if you think you can, DEFINITELY DO IT! Even though my feet were incredibly sore by the end, I enjoyed this tour more than most any other we took. Beyond a doubt, I give the majority of the credit to Mally as he was engaging and really ensured we all felt included. I should also note that they give you audio headsets to be able to hear your guide. This is key as there would have been extreme challenges hearing Mally in some the closes (alleyways). Absolutely brilliant. Highly recommended.

This bus trip takes you out of the city of Edinburgh and into the magical Scotland highlands. The views are outstanding. Pictures truly do not do it justice. Our tour guide Thomas was phenomenal and very informative. Driver (Chris I think) was so great! I learned so much on this trip. It was a beautiful outing. Keep in mind it's a long day trip (12 to 13 hours) but the views are totally worth it.

We had a wonderful experience on the Edinburgh Private Tour with a Local – Highlights & Hidden Gems. Chris was an excellent guide — very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the tour. He tailored everything to our pace and somehow got us from New Town to Old Town without us even realizing how much we had climbed! We really appreciated how relaxed and enjoyable the experience felt. Chris brought Edinburgh to life for us, and we truly enjoyed our time with him and our exploration of this beautiful city. Highly recommend!

This was an excellent tour led by Max of Little Fish Tours. He did an excellent job telling us about the history of Old Town Edinburgh, keeping us entertained while also being honest and vulnerable about the pro’s and con’s of the stories he told us - keeping it real! Thanks, Max for an educational experience along with a good sense of humor!

I've been to Edinburgh many times and done a lot of ghost tours but this was the best one I've been on. No costumes, no gimmicks, just a genuinely informative tour of all things gruesome and grisly. Ross, our guide, knew his stuff but was very personable and approachable. I also appreciated that he didn't rush us and made sure to wait for everyone to catch up. I learnt new things and visited new places so this really is a tour not to be missed
