This Tour was everything we had hoped for. I fell in love with Edinburgh. But, the best part of our tour was our guide, Tom. He went above and beyond and included so much history and humor that we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Not worth the money, misleading

A little misleading. We thought we were going to go inside Edinburgh Castle, but we basically gotten driven around and shown the sites inside the city without actually getting to experience them. Our driver did pick us up at Waverly station and helped with our bags. He was helpful in that way. I don't think this tour was worth the money, though.

Hi Bethany, it clearly states tickets for Castle not included. The tour included 10 stops of the city. Yes, we did pick you up from the station at 13:15 early as you had chosen 15:00 we moved our diary to accommodate you with larger than normal suitcases but this wasn’t a problem for our driver. At no time did you say to our driver that you weren’t happy with the tour. Yes Holyrood Palace was closed to public but again it states that entry is not included. Our driver also helped with your bags to the hotel again very oversized! When booking any tour again please read what it includes as it was not misleading to anyone.

Perfect way to get an overview of Edinburgh with a fabulous guide!

Our family (2 adults, 2 teens, 2 senior citizens) all absolutely loved this tour, and Tom could not have been a more perfect guide! He was funny, personable and professional and provided us with an outstanding tour of the beautiful city of Edinburgh. (He was also easy to understand, which had been a bit of a concern ahead of time with two in our group a bit hard of hearing and also unaccustomed to the accent.) A couple of the originally planned stops were blocked from all traffic because of events going on the day we were there, and he quickly adapted and found a great Plan B as we went. We hadn't realized in advance just how hilly and large Edinburgh is, so we learned as we went that this was the only viable way for us to have seen so much in our short weekend stay. We did this tour day 1, then were able to revisit spots we wanted to explore more and also check out some of the recommendations Tom gave us along the way. Everything

Very accommodating to our limited time schedule--we wanted to fit in the most in one day so after a Castle tour our driver was able to be flexible and meet us a bit later and still get in some highlights that were easier to cover in a car. Paul, our tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful recommending gluten free restaurants for us as well.
