With Richard we had a great experience with in Edinburgh. What stood out immediately was how well-structured and efficient the tour was no wasted time, but never felt rushed.
Richards combined strong historical knowledge with engaging storytelling, which made the city feel alive rather than just a series of landmarks. He was also very good at reading us a family so adjusting pace, answering questions thoughtfully, and adding small details you wouldn’t get from a typical scripted tour.
Overall, this was a high-quality experience and easily one of the better city tours I’ve done. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh who wants more than just surface-level information.

Doug was waiting for us at the meeting point at the agreed time. We walked together around the city explaining the most important aspects at each stop. Great stories and valuable historical information. He is an easy going and flexible guide who we recommend to contact, specially if you want to cover the best places of this beautiful city in a short time visit and at your own pace.

What an amazing tour! Roxana was incredibly knowledgeable and an amazing story teller. We highly recommend this tour and we would love another tour by her the next time we’re in town. We particularly enjoyed her historical stories about witches and the lore of the city. It was very interesting to see the Edinburgh’s history through a female lens! She was very welcoming and answered all of our questions.
