What are people saying about Edinburgh

Expect limited time at...
Expect limited time at stops - as is noted in agenda so may not be able spend as much time as you would like. There was some confusion about reservations for meals in Portree as B&B host told us they don’t take reservations which I think is true for some
but not all places.
Stewart was great!

Great travel option to tour around Edinburgh and get overview and then hop off to explore an area on foot.
Good overview of the attractions and points of interest in Edinburgh with the ability to leave tour at select spots andcexplore area in more detail and then hop back on tour to continue. Pass is good for 24 hours so best to plan whole day around it to take full advantage. There are a few tour options (Red bus or Green bus) so if you know what areas you wish to see then compare routes to buy best option for you.

The magic of the Highlands and Isle of Skye
I have done lots of day trips, but no overnight trips and this was beyond all expectations. I really think I hit the jackpot with my tour guide Scott the information that he provided all of us was exceptional. His passion for the country the history, the music everything was absolutely exceptional. This is a must see trip, but I would highly recommend doing it before June or later in the fall. Scott said it gets very very busy after June and up into the fall.

Great trip
This is a great tour with the perfect time (castle could have been longer as it took a bit to get started setting up the audio tour and there was a lot to see) for each event. Our guide, Gary, was very knowledgeable and gave us information all along the way. It was a long day but didn’t seem too bad with his commentary and stops.

Great tour, Richard!
Rich made the tour funny: great stories, funny, insightful, and informative. Played interesting and appropriate tunes as well to mix things up. Like all tours, there is usually one troubled person and Rich handled everything professionally and casually. And we got a feee cookie! Also, just as a side note, another guide from another tour (Sean?) was kind enough to answer some questions for me. An untimely hot weatherman’s would have liked a bit more on the air conditioning, but that is probably a rare occurrence for us.

A must for Outlander and Monty Python fans
Douglas was a great host! This is a great trip to fill in some of the lesser known/not as popular gaps in your itinerary. Doune Castle was a highlight, a must for fans of Outlander or Monty Python. We fitted in a lot of stops, on a well planned route by Discover Scotland. Great craic!

A bit long but generally...
A bit long but generally excellent. The Kelpies were great, Stirling Castle also excellent (better than Edinburgh Castle). Not much to see at Loch Lomond but information was interesting. The drive through the Trossachs(?) was uncomfortable because of all the curves and up and downs but visit to see and feed the Hamish cows was a highlight. Driver Alastair was entertaining

Brody packed so much in!...
Brody packed so much in! I learned a lot of history and saw so many things. If you want to see The Highlands and Loch Ness, and don’t have time to take the multi day tours, this is perfect for you! Brody was fantastic. He was the perfect blend of Scottish sarcasm, humor and knowledge.

Excellent for one day around the city.
Excellent city centre tour. Easy to find bus stops plus comfortable earphones with informative details of the city in multiple languages. Great for those with limited energy to get around the city and its top attractions.
We were informed these tickets covered red and blue route when purchasing, please note they do not. Red route only. There is another company Big Bus (also on Viator) that do the blue and red route. Plus another company that offer a green route.
The red route is perfect for a days exploring, red and blue for 2 days.

Great tour
A great tour, with lots of local colour. I do wish there hadn't been any children on the tour, but that's not the guide's fault. However, his amendments on their behalf, and the reminders that they had chosen the Darkside tour, were a bit unfortunate. Still a worthwhile tour. It was pouring rain, and G still made the most of the evening, adapting as need be.

Recommended if you plan to go to the included museums
Drivers of the HOHO Buses are nice. People at the station are nice and helpful. Only suggestion is to give exact address of the Information Centre to redeem tickets as the information I had was just Waterloo Place but don’t know the address so hard to find from map.
