Ed nailed it !!! For starters his car is awesome, clean, and roomy. Our drive up and back was well narrated by Ed. He has a wealth of knowledge. We made a few stops on the way up which was appreciated. One of the stops was a quaint fishing village. Ed took us on a walking tour of the town of St Andrews. Again, great intel. We really enjoyed the town. We initially arrived at the Old Course. Ed can also take great pictures. We have great photos of my wife and I on the Swilcan Bridge. We had lunch at the Old Tom Morris grill. I would definitely recommend. If you want swag at the pro shop be prepared for the prices. Not cheap. Ed had great knowledge of the Old Course and its history. Next we were off to the town of Falkland and the Falkland Palace. This was a very nice stop. The scenery on our ride was stunning and beautiful. Takes your breath away. Prior to our trip we had no set itinerary except the Old Course and lunch. We asked Ed to carve out an itinerary for us based on our wishes and he nailed it. I would highly recommend this trip and you hire Ed. You will not be disappointed and it is worth every penny. Superb day and thank you Ed!

Ed really knows his history and made our trip very interesting and informative! He knew exactly what to ask us when we first started ie; do you have lunch reservations at St Andrew’s Golf Course? We didn’t and he immediately made them for us. Also he has a really beautiful Mercedes that he drives perfectly! 😊

A beautiful day at St Andrew’s! Our guide, Ed, was terrific, providing historical background about the places we visited and had a good sense of humor. Lunch at old Tom Morris’ with a great view of The Old Course.

Had a lovely tour to St Andrews for the day with a stop along the way at a lovely little fishing town and stop at palace with lovely surrounding garden on way home. Wonderful friendly knowledgeable guide. Thought about driving myself but this was much, much more relaxing and enjoyable.

We took a private day tour of St. Andrew’s with Ed. It was an amazing tour and Ed was so knowledgeable and professional. He was very communicative leading up to the trip and even had suggestions for us to make lunch reservations prior to our arrival. This was very important, even though we didn’t realize this ahead of time, because it was a very busy day at the Old Course. We felt like we had known Ed almost immediately. He was laughing with us and made us feel very comfortable. Although we traveled quite a distance during the trip, it seemed to go so quickly because we were really enjoying the facts and little quizzes that Ed engaged us in. Ed also gave suggestions for the remainder of our stay which was very helpful. While we have no plans as of yet to return to Scotland we would love to return and when we do, we will definitely be touring with Ed again!

This was a great experience! Ed was a great tour guide and made the experience really fun! I highly recommend this tour. Ed helped us plan this and make sure we hit the best spots. Will reach out if him next time we are there.

We were not 100% sure we would be excited about this journey but felt like we needed to see it since we were in Scotland. Much to our surprise, we loved it. The course is simply beautiful! Our driver, Edmonton, was excellent as well. He prompted us to get a reservation at the Tom Morris restaurant and was very pleasant to spend time with.

Fun and enjoyable day tour to St Andrew’s. Auto was clean and comfortable. Ed was accommodating and knowledgeable. The private tour was what we were looking for.

The driver/guide was very flexible in making sure the tour fit our expectations. He asked about what we had been doing on our other tours and we told him about going to see the cathedrals, so he took us to two that he thought we would like to see in the St. Andrew's area. He also made sure we were able to have lunch at the clubhouse at the St. Andrew's golf course. When I complained that the shop at the clubhouse only had one size of shirts on hand, he took us to another shop with a lot more merchandise to choose from. He dropped us at a restaurant on a crowded street when we got back to Edinburg so we wouldn't have to walk there from our hotel since he knew we were at the end of our trip and very tired. He made it a day for us to enjoy ourselves and relax which we appreciated.

Ed was a fabulous guide- he worked with us ahead of time to make sure we prioritized the day with what was most important to us. He was a wealth of knowledge, made great recommendations for lunch, shops and things our kids would enjoy. It was such a fun day!

Communication was excellent. Ed answered all my questions before and during the tour and had no issues with changing our pick-up point. Ed was pleasant, knowledgeable, friendly, polite and patient with our group. We also felt safe while we were on the road with him. Time spent on places visited were sufficient. Would definitely recommend.

Ed was amazing. he was beyond informative, polite, friendly, and made our day in St. Andrews a bucket experience. Time with Ed was similar to just driving through a beautiful countryside with a good friend and discussing the sites.

The suggested itinerary was well planned and perfectly timed. Everything was interesting and well explained by our guide, Ed, who was great. He was well prepared and very informative. The recommend restaurant for lunch was a great choice. The whole day was very enjoyable.

My family had a wonderful time with Ed on our full day excursion to St. Andrews. We saw so many things, it was really a full day full that included not just all St. Andrews had to see but some bonus time in a fishing village and an Outlander stop at Falkland Palace. You cover so much in just one day. Most of all, driving in Scotland is no easy task. The rural roads are very tricky to navigate, so I highly recommend a guide like Ed to take you on this type of day trip. If anyone in your group loves golf, the Old Course is an amazing sight to see. Ed gave us a great day out!

Ed was the perfect tour guide and skillfully arranged for the specific sites we wanted to see. Additionally, prior to our tour, Ed researched the home of my ancestors and provided good insight. We found Ed to be knowledgeable, courteous, professional and kind. The vehicle was perfect for our outing. We would love to utilize Ed in the future if we again travel to the Edinburgh area!

My friend and I had a wonderful time with Ed visiting St. Andrews and Falkland palace. Ed was flexible, knowledgeable, and professional in guiding us through St. Andrews cathedral, castle, and golf course. It was informative and we left feeling as if we left no stone unturned. We also had a delicious Fudge donut from Fisher and Donaldson!
