What are people saying about Edinburgh

A great day trip out of Edinburgh
We had a one day tour with Alistair, the driver. Went to Loch Lomond, the Kelpies, Stirling Castle and Callander. We had a terrific time at each of these places. Alistair did a great job of providing the right amount of background while deftly and safely driving our motor coach. Thank you!

Great day!
I highly recommend this highlands with distillery tour. Our tour guide and driver, Mike was fantastic! He shared lots of Scottish history, clarified facts from fiction and played traditional music. We had several rest stops with clean bathrooms in addition to our tour destinations. The whisky distillery was really interesting and we also ate lunch there which was all scratch made soups, sandwiches, quiche and pastries. The national park was beautiful with time for a short hike to incredible views. Of course, the hairy coos stole the show with their chilled out dispositions and the option to feed them. What a great day!

Fantastic Day Trip – Highly Recommended
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour.. It was a long day of approximately 13 hours, but it was well worth it. The tour covered an amazing amount of territory and gave us the opportunity to see so much of the spectacular Scottish Highlands in a relatively short time.
Our tour guide, Stephen B, kept us entertained and informed throughout the day, combining fascinating history with great stories and delivering them in his own uniquely humorous style. His knowledge and personality really added to the experience.
If you have limited time in Scotland but want to see as much of the Highlands as possible, I would highly recommend this tour. Not only do you get to experience some truly breathtaking scenery, but you also gain a wonderful insight into the history, culture and stories that make this such an amazing region.

Brilliant trip to The Isle of Skye
A superb trip…..tightly organised but unhurried.
Travel…accommodation…choice of sights …commentary…all far exceeded expectation.
Our guide,Scott, displayed excellent driving skills, provided clear explanations and directions throughout. His commentary was both knowledgeable and humorous. Everyone felt relaxed and confident. He managed to cater for a diverse group of people , taking time to make sure that everyone’s needs were met.

George The Bard
Keep in mind, George is navigating Highland roads (if you like roller coasters, wee!) AND delivering fantastic lore and historical facts AT THE SAME TIME! If you don't become enamored with his brrrogue or (our new Spotified) playlist, you'll love his funny, macabre, and deep cut history of Scotland. The trip is an ever-giving testament to the deeper than Loch Ness depth of character and strength of the Scottish people. I was trying to put a name to what I had long detected in friends and acquaintances from Scotland and, when George said it, it hit immediately. The Scottish are not afraid of mortality AND they hit FAR above their weight. This comes across as an authenticity not seen in many. I enjoy "Edin-bra" immensely, walkable, easily accessible and replenishing for the soul - this extends to this trip, as well. George is merciful on the need for replenishments and the bladder, there are many pit stops at perfect intervals. He knows all the instagrammable spots and it's mind-blowing how many films have chosen the Highlands as backdrops, but you'll see and understand why. Have mercy on George though - he is against a tight schedule to get YOU to the sites you want to see on time and those locations don't stop for anyone, not even the tours. You want to catch the cruise? Keep to HIS timetable. Glencoe is gorgeous, perfectly Scotland-weathered (bring rain gear/umbrella and something warm), Urquhart Castle reminds me of another medieval castle from my home country, Château Gaillard, loved being able to compare and store memories of both. The Loch is shockingly deep, I had no idea and learned a lot from the cruise (while my teen made fun of it, he appreciated it and that there are folks who BELIEVE!). The bus was comfortable, sleepy folks will benefit from a neck pillow. I typically have a few carsick family members - they experienced zero symptoms on this trip. We read the trip instructions and purchased food the night before for the trip (there are Lidl's, etc in Edinburgh for stocking up), so were ready to roll every time needed. Frustratingly, there were always a couple of folks/groups who consistently pushed the group's timetable for extended photographic moments (hard to believe when there was SO much time given for these at each stop). Consideration for other travelers AND the tour guide goes a long way! There is beyond plenty of time given for restroom, photography, food/drink at every stop - just no reason to return to the bus late, unless emergency-related. Throughout the trip, I became convinced that everyone in Scotland must be a singer - the lilting manner of delivering even the vivid death of William Wallace sounds like a melody. Try to fight your sleepiness upon returning to Edinburgh because George has an amazing trove of facts specific to the city as you return. It's incredible how much has come from Scotland, not an immensely populated area, but a birthplace of ideas, inventions, and entrepreneurs. Thank you, George, for sharing the Highlands with us, heralding us safely there and back, managing the Loch "Stress" of keeping us rambunctious tourists on track, and leaving us with the story of Scotland's unbreakable spirit.
As a side note: we tipped using US dollars (apologies for the terrible exchange rate, it was all we had on hand!). Of all tours taken in the UK, this one deserved a sign of appreciation and more.

Fabulous experience, I want to do it again.
Go for this one, amazing locations of Outalder (and other shows) . Our kind driver brought all the fun and knew a lot about the scenes filmed at each location. Plenty of time to look around each site, enjoy the scenery and of course take the perfect photos.

Excellent guide
Our guide was fantastic - Even though she was from Spain she has lived and worked in Edinburgh for many years. She definitely knows the city. Her English was clear and easily understood. I am coming back to Edinburgh with myself husband soon and I hope to do this tour again

So worth it!!
Ask about the additional route. It costs a little more to do both. We didn’t have time to do the other route by the time we found out about it but we definitely would have if we knew ahead of time. Great way to see the area. Sitting in the top area of the bus is recommended. Depending on weather of course.

Most Accommodating!
Exceptionally pleased with this company as a train delay prevented us from using our tickets on the day we had reserved them. We were able to exchange our tickets for the next day and enjoyed a city tour after which several in our multigenerational family group added on an additional route for a reduced fee.

Spooky family fun
Good, wholesome family fun with a spooky twist. Ghost stories and historical facts on a fun ride around the city. We are locals so knew some of the stories but liked learning new stuff too. I took my 13 year old daughter who loves a ghost story as much as I do and she enjoyed it.

Stirling Castle
We had an Excellent guide on the bus, lots of information were provided in funny and memorable way. We bought tickets to see the Stirling Castle, highly recommend. We got a bit lost in the village next to Loch Lomond, :) due to the fact that we didn't listen. Had a great time.

St Andrew’s visit
You only have 2 hours and 45 minutes in St. Andrews. You also stop at a fishing town and a town from Outlander(which we have never seen). We would have preferred another hour in St. Andrews and skip the fishing town. Otherwise a very good trip. You are on your own in St. Andrews. We visited the remains of the cathedral and the rest of the time at the Old Course. It was a Sunday, so we were able to walk the course and take lots of pictures. The beach there also was quite pretty.
