This rappeling and canyoning excursion was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. If you’re hesitating with questions like “Am I too old?” “Am I fit enough?” or “Is it safe?” Let me save you some mental gymnastics. You’re not too old (or too young). If you can climb 3–4 flights of stairs, you’re good. Will you feel a little winded at times? Sure. But it’s completely doable, and the guides make it feel approachable from the start. Safety-wise: totally safe. The guides are consummate professionals; calm, clear, and attentive. They keep you secure at all times, explain everything, and check-in at each stop. And they’re also genuinely funny, which keeps the whole experience lighthearted and stress-free even when your adrenaline is doing cartwheels. We did four rappels plus the Monkey Drop, which was more fun than I can possibly explain. If you want an adrenaline rush with expert guidance and big “I can’t believe I did that!” energy, this is the excursion. If you’re even considering it for a second -- just do it. You’ll probably regret not trying.

Arriving at meet-up point was a little chaotic, but everyone at the beach was helpful and pointed us to the right place. The time on the catamaran was fantastic. Great bartender and good food. We saw whales, stingrays and the bioluminescence of the algae on our way back to shore. Recommend!

What an amazing tour! It was a full day of hiking so be prepared but it is worth it! We had 3 kids ages 5, 10, and 11 and the guide was amazing with them! We started our day at Mistico bridges and there is no way we would’ve seen 20% of the animals without Isaac, our guide. He would find something and set up his scope and show us. He was so accommodating to our kids and answered every question a kid could have. We then went to La Fortuna waterfall, which was gorgeous. Then to their HQ for lunch that was prepared by the family there. It was SO good! After lunch, and coffee, we went to the volcano trails. There we hiked up and learned all about the volcano. Definitely book this tour with this company if you want to do these 3 things. It was such a fun day!
