- There is plenty of shaded areas on board, please prepare to spend majority of your tour in direct or indirect sunlight. For safety reasons spray sunscreens are not permitted.
- We board the large catamaran from small tenders from the beach. Long dresses, and pants are not recommended.
- You will be notified by a representative of your pickup time, our transportation will only wait 5 minutes at each stop before moving to the next stop. If you miss your transportation time, your tour will be cancelled without refund.
- ID is needed to use paddle boards, boogie boards, surf boards and snorkel gear.
- Banana Boat rides are available for purchase. Please contact us to reserve and purchase tickets.

Our sunset tour during these months operates from 11am - 3:30 pm to avoid rain, and rough waters in the evening during these months. During these months there is rarely a SUNSET and safety is our priority - always! Please note when booking these months we will contact you to arrange pickup, which is will be between 9:45 - 10:30 am during GREEN SEASON.

Awesome afternoon / sunset cruise! Can’t say enough about the hospitality, service and communication of the crew. BBQ lunch at the private beach was delicious and we enjoyed swimming and banana boat ride. Catamaran was comfortable and well maintained. Exceeded our expectations!

We had a fantastic day. You could do as much or as little as you wanted. Staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating to all age groups. Food was delicious and presented beautifully. Staff was Cpt Brian, Cook Empanada, Bartender Lagos, and the best leader of the group John!!! You do need to transfer between tender boat and catamaran. They were helpful with those who needed a little assistance. They provide pick up at your hotel and the bus driver was so nice.

The crew was fabulous , boat great , lunch was delicious . I was expecting the beach to be better. It was nice and private , but the beach was rocky , you needed sandals or bring water shoes to go in or walk in the beach . Other than that , it was a nice day with a boat ride and great lunch and sunset. The crew works hard at accommodating everyone .

The sunset excursion was cancelled due to low participation but I was offered the daytime trip and loved it! We had a wonderful day on the cameraman and beach. The lunch was delicious, the staff was very nice, the weather was great, and the banana boat was a blast! I’m glad we were switched to the day trip. It was a great experience.

Great tour! The boat staff was incredible. The beach experience was like something out of a movie. We had a tiki bar, beach chairs, hammocks and wooden tables for our freshly grilled kababs - YUM! Johannes was great at finding all the creatures at the beach. We saw hermit crabs, bats and a sloth! The staff played a fun game of soccer with our younger males.
Only complaint was we were not warned that after checkin at the main office we had to then drive to the beach, FIND PARKING and get to the boat. It was a Sunday and the beach was mobbed. We had two cars to park and it took a bit, the boat was about to leave us. For all the great communication before the tour this detail was left out.

We did this on our last day in Costa Rica, and it was a perfect end to the trip. Taking the small boat out to the catamaran was a little scary (plan to get wet!), but the actual catamaran ride was smooth and fun! Drinks were abundant, and the crew was fun and helpful. Once on the beach, there were plenty of chairs, several hammocks, boogie boards, and everything needed for a fun and relaxing afternoon. The food was fantastic, from the chip and dip appetizers to the main course of kebabs, potatoes, and salad. I would do this again and again!

This turned out to be our favorite afternoon of the trip, even as we went in with low expectations of a crowded boat, watered down drinks and okay food. The free-flowing Tico Loco drinks were so good that we had to go to Duty-Free on our way out and buy the Cacique so we could make them at home. The food prepared at the beach by the staff was exceptional. The private beach was beautiful, with plenty of chairs and hammocks for relaxing- with Macaws flapping around in the trees above. There was everything needed for water sports, hiking, and a volleyball court where we held a spirited match with the guests and the staff. And then there was the spectacular sunset on the way back.

One of the best things we did in Jaco! Playa Fantasia is a gorgeous private beach that you can just hang and bond with the rest of the people on the catamaran. Open bar and the most delicious food! Made lifelong friends on this experience.

Nice way to enjoy the ocean, beach, good food and visiting with other travelers. Fantasia was a great spot to relax and unwind. Staff were friendly and proud of the Catamaran and positioned us for wonderful photos of the sunset.

Catamaran tour was wonderful! I didn’t realize when I booked how cute and set up the private beach would be! There was a bar, grill, good apps, delicious lunch, beach hikes, water hangs, it was perfect. Captain was stern but hilarious, and safety was very important, addressed, and understood. This was a great value!

So much fun! We had a great day on the water and on the beach. The ride out to Playa Fantasia started with a tasty welco.e cocktail, and then we were able to order from their drink menu throughout the day. On the way to the beach we had multiple whale sightings, and caught a huge fish that they cleaned and added to our beachside lunch. The beach itself was beautiful with white sand and free chairs to sit in. Lunch was delicious, and best of all the crew was som friendly and fun. To top it off, they stopped on the way back from the beach to just relax and enjoy the sunset.

This was the most amazing experience I’ve had in a while! The captain was very kind but firm about safety which was great! Once we were on sail the whole crew was very nice and I loved how they were soooo attentive! Drink taste great! The private island was fun with great food and games. I’m soooo glad we went on this excursion and it was worth every penny! I would definitely recommend this! Best fun I’ve had in years! Salute 🫡 to you capitan! Puro Vida!

We were really were looking forward to enjoying this excursion, but out of all the boat tours I've been on, this was the worst one. The captain was rude and unpleasant, and the energy on the boat didn't feel fun or enjoyable. It sucks because Playa Fantasia is a beautiful secluded beach, so we tried to make the best of it. But outside of the beach, the rest of the experience including the food and drinks were not worth it.

We sincerely appreciate your feedback as it allows us to improve every day. We deeply regret that you did not enjoy our tour. For our captain, the safety of each of our customers is of utmost importance, which is why we follow a strict safety protocol.
Our tour is designed to be a family-friendly environment, and we understand the frustration of other customers having to wait longer. Possibly, if your group had arrived on time, like the rest of our customers, you would have enjoyed the tour just as much. Unfortunately, your group arrived 30 minutes late, despite being informed in the reservation that you needed to arrive at our offices at 10:10 a.m. to register and then be transported to the catamaran.
Even so, we tried to accommodate by waiting a bit longer, but it is not fair to the other customers who arrived punctually to have to wait. We sought alternative solutions to ensure you could still join the tour and regret that our efforts were not appreciated.
It is important to note that we cannot control the reactions and frustrations of other customers, and we must adhere to our 4-hour itinerary to ensure a satisfactory experience for everyone. We are pleased to hear that the other customers were happy with the tour and hope you understand that we could not reward lateness.
Ultimately, we appreciate your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you on board again in the future.

So after the captain/owner got done with the 5 minute lecture and threats about not drinking too much on an advertised "all drinks included" cruise his attitude never improved except when it was time to collect tips from the passengers. Add to this the fact that his boat deck ruined 3 out of 5 of my family's bathing suits, I would not recommend this cruise. The beach that we were taken to was very cool, the lunch was good and the rest of the crew were nice but the captain and the boat deck were a real bummer.
