Seen plenty of sloths and shared interesting knowledge
Our guy knew exactly where to find the sloths. She took plenty of photos to include the sloths and Family❤️. He also captured video. The images were high-quality and shared amongst everyone in the group. Definitely recommend. Also planted out interesting birds and plants.

Awesome guided...
Awesome guided experience. Our guide was very knowledgable and knew spots where we could see the wildlife. He had a high definition spotting scope and a tripod, which helped us take a closer look at the wildlife and also helped take pictures and videos from the spotting scopes.
We spotted insects, lizards, snakes, bats, capuchin monkeys, birds, crabs and a toucan. Sometimes wild life can be unpredictable so unfortunately we couldn't see any frogs, sloths, parrots or the Squirrel Monkeys.
We visited the park in July and thankfully it was not raining.
The tour ends at the beach and the guide showed us parts of the beach which are less crowded and also helped take pictures.
Overall it was a nice experience.

Amazing!!
This was an amazing tour! They walk the property & mark the areas they find sloths so you are guaranteed to see a sloth. We were fortunate enough to see one moving & a momma/baby that hadn’t been marked. Our tour guide also used his telescope to capture videos/pics of the sloths, lizards, frogs, birds all the things that we came across, so that was great. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, took the time to answer questions. Our group was very small. This was honestly the best tour that we took. Would 100% recommend.

We had a great experience...
We had a great experience and the tour was awesome! The guides were amazing especially our guide Josue. He did an excellent job pointing out animals and informing us on everything. Overall it was a great experience and would definitely recommend if you’re trying to hit all the spots in La Fortuna but be prepared for a long but fun day!

Highly recommend! 🙌
Book through your hotel concierge if possible. We screwed ours up by choosing wrong hotel for pickup. Despite that the operators worked with us and got us on another tour but ours was paid for and pre scheduled. Just want to be clear we didn’t just show up expecting a tour on demand. Very rocky terrain so might be challenging if you’ve never ATV’d before but totally safe. You are absolutely not doing anything too crazy so even if you’re new to ATV, do it! You’ll be fine. You will get a little dirty and one or two water crossings but that is the best part!! We appreciated the pineapple mid ride and the couple breaks we had from riding. The hike up to base of volcano is short but uphill so it will require some degree of cardiovascular fitness! Beautiful view if you get up there! Very nice people running the activity and safety conscious and mindful to keep the group together. All throughout the ride beautiful scenery to enjoy!

Great your and guide!
Fantastic tour with Kenneth. He knew a lot about the animals and the park. We saw 2 kinds of sloths, 2 kinds of monkeys - including being the first to spot some so we were alone with them which was special because this park is very crowded with people. A few frogs, iguanas, agoutis, bats, crickets, and more. We went early and it was worth it.

Visit with the Night Dwellers
This was an excellent tour of the rainforest at night. We were a small group of five and our guide was excellent. We were each provided with flashlights and the trail was well laid out. There are some steep steps along the way but nothing too difficult if you take your time ( I am 78, but quite fit). Our 11 year old grandson loved it. The guide was great at spotting wildlife including, tree frogs, roosting birds, a lovely non-venomous snake, spiders and numerous other animals and insects. He seemed to really enjoy his work and the whole tour seemed relaxed and certainly not rushed. I highly this tour. 5 out of 5!

Incredible day
Amazing and must-do in La Fortuna. Was worried it would be touristy, but it is for a reason! We took our time down and made it to the waterfall in around 12 mins. We swam in the river and enjoyed the views for 40 mins or so, and then walked back up in 18 mins (with many stops on the stairs!)

Great for families, groups, couples, and solo!
Definitely worth the price. I booked this for two, then found out an hour before the departure time that my boyfriend cheated on me. I broke up with him and went on the boat tour as planned-- it was awesome all by myself! There were probably about 50 people on board, but it felt decently spacious. There are seating options on deck, but also inside if you want to stay out of the sun. We sailed pretty far out from Coco Beach to a smaller beach on a little island. This took about an hour and a half. Then we had the option of taking the dingy to shore or snorkeling. I snorkeled for a bit, but then hung out on the shore for the rest of the time. The open bar is fantastic, the staff were super personable and attentive always asking if they could get you a new beverage. We had a great meal as well!! I would definitely do this experience again as it was beautiful, relaxing, and stress-free; just what I needed.

Stephen was...
Stephen was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the tour feel fun and interactive. He shared so many interesting facts about the crocodiles and the surrounding wildlife while keeping everything safe and professional. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does.
Seeing the crocodiles up close in their natural habitat was unforgettable. The scenery was beautiful, and the entire experience felt authentic and worth every minute.

Misty monkeys
Despite only hearing but not seeing famed Quetzal, our guide Eleir gave us so much attention. He found millipedes, tarantulas, a fabulous stick bug, all things we would never have seen on our own. He was very knowledgeable and shared lots. Highlight were the spider monkeys swinging from the tree tops. Eleir got me a few slow mo videos and photos on my phone through his scope. To know: buy your private tour but then also buy your Monteverde Preserve entrance fee for the same trail and same time or you will not be let into the park. Got some true cloud action, sun, brief showers - the gamut.

ATV/Zip experience
The atv portion was great. I think I was fortunate in only having 4 people in the group. I saw a group of over 10 and it looked like a miserable conga line. The halfway point being a waterfall was a nice surprise.
The zip lining experience was also amazing. Even with it being my first time, the safety instructors gave me the confidence as if it was my hundredth time. 10/10 bonus points for it being a rainstorm prior to speed the wires up!
