This is a private tour to the TOTUMO VOLCANO, It is an attractive and popular place for being full of medicinal mud. Its inhabitants claim that it is healing thanks to its components, such as water, silica, aluminum, magnesium, sulfur, calcium, iron and other minerals. According to testimonies from residents and visitors, it has therapeutic properties, leaving a positive appearance on the skin and relieving muscle and joint pains. In summer, the volume of mud in the volcanic cone decreases; in winter, due to the swamp next to the volcano, it fills to overflow. With a duration of approximately 1 hour on the volcano, the entrance and immersion in the attraction have a maximum duration of 15 to 30 minutes. Massages, drinks, photos (with personal mobile devices) and a bath with a pumpkin in the swamp are offered on site, by a native who takes care of removing the mud from the people. Kevin was well-informed of the history and culture of the Comuna 13 and its people. The food samples along the tour were delicious and filled with depth of flavors. Amazing experience!

This excursion was a lot of fun! Be prepared to get dirty! Wear clothes and sneakers you don’t mind getting dirty or wet. Also, bring something to cover your head and face. I had two bandannas which worked out perfectly. I was wearing sun glasses but would also recommend Google because it’s a lot of dirty. The lunch was amazing!!! If you want the seafood option, bring 130,000 Colombian pesos ($40 US Dollars). The lunch provided was good but the seafood option was even better! The beach views were amazing as well.

Romero was an outstanding tour guide—funny, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made the history and culture of Palenque come alive and kept the group entertained throughout the day. Although it was extremely hot, this was one of the most educational and rewarding experiences of my trip. The lunch was hands down the best meal of my vacation. Absolutely delicious and tasted like it was cooked with love. It was authentic, homemade, and was a highlight of the entire experience. I also loved browsing the local vendors, who had beautiful souvenirs and plenty of unique items to choose from. The only minor downside was that the air conditioning in the van wasn't working very well because the air wasn't coming through the vents. Even so, it didn't take away from the overall experience. I would absolutely AND highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cartagena.

Brilliant hike to Lost City

This was a brilliant hike, made better by a fun group / brilliant guide and translator (shout outs to Antonio and Carlos 💚) In terms of difficulty - I would say this is moderately difficult for someone who is sensibly fit. There are stretches of uphill, and clearly a significant amount of walking per day which is broken up for breaks for fruit and meals. Sleeping wise - you stay on beds in open air lodges, and there are showers available at the end of the day. Only recommendation is make sure you bring your own water bottles - there are refill stations however plastic bottles are not provided.

It was a lively day to...

It was a lovely day to see some of the country side on our drive to climb there and back. Climbing the stairs is a must do with awesome views, take all the breaks you need, but do it. The towns we visit were nice to walk around and and get a bit of history. Felipe was a knowledgeable and funny host that kept the experience enjoyable. We also had a great driver.

This was a really good experience, starting with the wonderful treatment given by our tour guide, Sebastian, who was charismatic and informative. The speedboat ride was comfortable and really cool when it went fast. Finally, the tour spots were all paradisiacal and a great way to disconnect from the city.

Just do it, you’ll enjoy it

Myra was amazing. She was patient and kind. The trip up Montserrat was challenging due to the altitude but she was thoughtful on breaks while giving a lot of historical information. Then the walk through La Candelaria was at a good pace of information and down time to process and reflect. I love art so the museum and gallery was my favorites but that is limiting how much we actually saw and what you will experience. It was a great day?

Had a great whistle stop walking tour with Legaxy. It was exactly what I wanted.
