I had so much fun!!
I had so much fun! We started the boat ride with other strangers and by the end I felt like I was with all friends. The lunch was also delicious and filling. I came on my birthday and had the time of my life! Next time I’m back I’ll definitely do this again!!!

Overall, this was an excellent experience. Jaime was a great host for a fun day exploring the islands. I would highly recommend this excursion for people looking to explore, swim, snorkel, and have great food at leisurely pace and without the party atmosphere found on other boats.

Perfect Afternoon
Absolutely wonderful experience! The entire trip was seamless. The snorkeling is a must, and the cocktails were delicious. I definitely recommend bringing a hair tie, water, and lots of sunscreen. All of the vendors take card, but it's good to have cash to avoid transaction fees. You have to pay a port tax separate from the ticket price, which was $15.75 each for us.

Fun Day Trip, But Be Aware of Vendors
I had a great time at the aviary — it was relaxing and a nice way to start the day. Afterward, we were picked up and taken to the beach, where we had lunch and rented a cabana for 135 COP. The only downside was the vendors. They were very persistent and kept approaching us every 10 minutes, which made it difficult to fully relax. Be aware that some of the ladies offering massages may quote a low price at first. We were told it was only 140 COP for a shoulder massage, but the final charge ended up being 500 COP, which was a surprise. Make sure to confirm the full price before agreeing to anything. Also, if you’re buying bracelets, they should only be around 10–20 COP. Don’t overpay and be sure to negotiate. Overall, it was a fun experience, but just come prepared and aware of the extra sales.

There’s enough in Cartagena’s candy-colored Old Town to keep you wandering for days, but plenty more awaits outside the city’s 16th-century walls. The Colombian town is within easy reach of some epic attractions—ranging from dormant volcanoes filled with mineral-enriched mud to postcard-perfect islands fringed by white sand and lapped by the Caribbean Sea. So whether you want to sunbathe, snorkel, or smother yourself in silt, booking a Cartagena day trip will save you the hassle of arranging your own tickets and transfers, leaving you free to absorb the Colombian charm.
